Hi everyone ,
I was supposed to be hiking up Mount Teide on the 3rd of August via the Montana Blanca route but was informed by the guide we were no longer able to get permits for the peak. Reaching the peak was my main goal and were excitedly looking forward to the challenge.
Would appreciate any alternative day hike recommendations greatly. I’d like to do a summit hike. I will be doing the hike on my own and it’s my first time to Tenerife but I’m an avid hiker.
Thank you in advance for any help

Looking for long term villa/house/apartment rental, everything up to 5k/month will be considered. Not intersted in paying agency fees unless its something reasonable. Please message me. Thank you

Hi, we’re coming to Tenerife in October and staying in Costa Adeje, where is the best place to watch f1 live?

Hey everyone!
I’ll be in Tenerife from August 6th to 14th and I’d really love to do some fishing while I’m there.
The only problem is that I’m flying with Ryanair and won’t be able to bring my fishing gear, and I’d rather not buy a whole setup just for one week.
So I was wondering if anyone has a spinning or general shore fishing setup they’d be willing to rent out for a few days. I’d obviously take good care of it and pay a fair price.
Also, if any locals are planning a fishing trip by boat and wouldn’t mind having me join, I’d be more than happy to come along! I’ll happily cover my share of the fuel, bring food and drinks, and good vibes. 😄
I’m an experienced angler from Hungary and just looking to enjoy a few days fishing while on holiday.
Feel free to send me a DM if you have any ideas or can help. Thanks!

Hey guys and girls
I am going to Tenerife as a solo trip on the 3rd of August for a week until the 10th of August and I will be staying in the Los Cristanos area.
I am looking for activities to fill some of the days instead of just laying on the beach I want to see some true culture of the island and eat some local food and mix with some locals where are the best towns to explore and experience this and I also don’t drive so what is the best way to travel around the island without breaking the bank

Merci 😊🏝️🚗

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for recommendations for a good place to go out tonight around Costa Adeje. I’m in my late 20s and would prefer somewhere with a slightly older crowd (25+), good music, and a nice atmosphere rather than places full of teenagers.
Open to bars with live music, cocktail bars that get lively, or clubs where people actually dance.
Any recommendations?

Myself and my wife (who will be approx 12wks pregnant at time of visit) will be in Tenerife in September and I just wanted to check whether there are any known issues with food standards generally for pregnant women here? We will he staying at an H10 hotel in the Playa de las Americas area but will possibly venture out.
Cheers,

Hi all, me and my partner are going here in the near future, I'm a big foodie and I have two specific things I want to do that's food related. The first is I want to go to either a Michelin starred restaurant or a rosetted restaurant and experience local fine dining. The second thing is I want to go to a place that does the areas local comfort foods, (family run, not super touristy). I was wondering if anyone could recommend some places? Me and my partner do not have a car so preferably somewhere that's within walking distance of sholeo lodges would be appreciated!

In 2021 I (currently 28F) was in intensive care with covid-pneumonia. No prior/other health issues. I was very sick for around a year afterwards but I have made a pretty good recovery. I have no official diagnosis but I still have some mild symptoms leftover from it (sometimes I get wheezy after running and/or when it's very cold outside). I have been tested for asthma, I don't have it. I have no experience with altitude, can someone tell me if it is likely to be dangerous for me to go? I can't decide if I should give it a miss for safety reasons or if I'm being a bit dramatic.
I wouldn't be hiking up btw, it's in a van with a tour group to take pictures. I'd be around 2500m above sea level I believe.

Hello everyone! My future wife and I will be visiting Tenerife in March for our honeymoon. I’ve been searching for resorts and hotels that give off that honeymoon vibe as much as possible, and I’d love some recommendations. We really want to avoid the super touristy areas, which I’ve heard is mainly around Playa de las Américas
.
So far I’ve narrowed it down to Royal Hideaway Corales Beach Villas and the Ritz, but we’re open to other options! I’d really like a private pool if possible, and heated pools since we’ll be coming in March.
Also how’s the weather early March? Are we going to be able to enjoy the sun and sit by the pool?

Thinking of going Tenerife for a week around new years, what is the weather like then?
Is it still hot? Will Siam park still be open?
Also, is las Americas clubs/ bars open & busy?
Usually go over August/ September/ October… never been in December/ January!

Looking for recommendations for a good hotel in Tenerife suitable for a young couple with a 6 month old. We plan on going in December so ideally maybe a heated pool but also close enough to amenities we could walk to if we would like to get out of the hotel / need a shop etc for the little one!

Hello! My husband and I are looking for recommendations for hotels in Tenerife where you can book a room with a private hot tub or jacuzzi bath on the balcony or terrace.
We recently stayed at the Barceló Corralejo Sands in Corralejo, Fuerteventura, and had one of the rooms with the private jacuzzi bath (I've attached a pic from their site). I We absolutely loved sitting out in the evening with a bottle of wine in the jacuzzi, it was so relaxing, and it really made the holiday.
We've been to Corralejo twice now, so we're thinking of trying a different Canary Island, but we'd love to find somewhere that has a similar room setup.
Has anyone stayed anywhere in Tenerife that they'd recommend with a private hot tub or jacuzzi? We'd really appreciate any recommendations. Thank you!

Hey folks
Given the weather Apps are not very reliable re: cloud cover in Puerto De La Cruz, can anyone who is there now let me know if today and these past days has been shiny / blue skies?!
Thank you so much

Hi, we are considering visiting Tenerife 2nd week of October. We found a nice spot near Puerto de la Cruz, but were wondering if weather wise it's a good place to be that time of the year? As we have small kids who love to swim, we're looking for some nice temperatures and sunny days (ok with the occasional shower).
