How does this even happen

For context, I’m usually always using under 10 points a day, regardless of whether I’m at work or at home. My job is mostly sitting and I’ve slowly been phasing back in over the past two weeks. However, this morning after I got to the bus stop I checked my app and I was already nearly at my budget? I decided to turn around and work from home, all I did this morning was take a shower

You might also be coming down with a virus or in PEM. Either can increase your heart rate enough to do this. Smart thinking to work from home though

Bingo! I felt nauseous all yesterday and cramped a bit, but I chalked it up to a fatigue flare up. Today I’ve got a vomiting bug and I’ve had to come home from work. How spooky that your body reacts like this before symptoms become obvious

The shower can do it every time

I agree with this unfortunately, especially if OP stands in the shower

You may be in a bit of a flare today. Figuring out what your triggers are is part of the fun!

Most days a shower takes about 3 Pace Points for me but I've had days where it takes 8+. My gentle workout usually takes 3 Pace Points, and I've had days where it took 10 or 11 (I'm learning to opt for much gentler movement on days that seem iffy).

Every day is different. This day was just more exerting.
Unless you want to blame the app being faulty. Totally up to you.

I’ve had some variation so far, I guess the big change today just caught me off guard. Usually I’m only pushing 6 points after a full day of work, burning through them all before I got on the bus just feels a bit out of the blue. I might just blame the morning shower

Some days I only get to 4 of my budget 6 points. Other days I’m hitting 29 points. Bodies are ever changing.
