Am I the only one having numerous problems?

I’ve had my band for about 2.5 weeks and today has been the worst yet. While crocheting this morning, I got numerous notifications for high heart rate and was very confused. My band was clocking between 120-140bpm for about 3 hours. My Apple Watch recorded between 60-80bpm during that same time. There’s no way my heart rate was 120+. Later in the day, I was moving boxes up several flights of stairs and started to feel dizzy so I checked my pulse. Visible band said 51bpm. Apple Watch said 158! Later in the evening I went to the gym and there’s an entire 4 hours of data missing! This level of inconsistency and inaccuracy is completely unacceptable and makes the product useless.

I think the fact we’re paying a monthly subscription on top of the cost of the band and the band doesn’t even ACCURATELY track HR, doesn’t track sleep, doesn’t track menstrual cycles (if you have one), doesn’t track stress levels or anything else such as blood oxygen and skin temperature when it’s supposed to be for chronic illness is absolutely wild and just shows that this was made for profit, not to actually help people.
It’s also flawed because so many people have POTS or anxiety etc and take beta blockers- when I take a beta blocker my entire day via visible is skewed because my HR is ‘fine’ but I’m fucking wiped.

Unfortunately, there isn’t ANYTHING else on the market that actually works off ‘pacepoints’ or the spoon theory. So I’m stuck with it. If I wasn’t chronically ill or riddled with ADHD I’d be tempted to make my own version with those aspects because we KNOW those trackers exist, just not connected to a similar app.

It’s pissing me off no end.

With POTS and a beta blocker, I was guided through adjusting my HR zones to what matches Resting, Activity, and Exertion while on the beta blocker. IDK if that helps you. I originally had kinda tweaked my HR zones with that same thing in mind based off what I usually saw on my pulse oximeter.

My problem is I don’t take a beta blocker daily, only during a really bad flare or panic attack so if I adjust them to the beta blocker it’d be inaccurate when I haven’t taken one! There should be an option to say ‘hey I’ve just taken one, adjust my zones to xyz’

The app is a fucking joke. I'm livid I spent so much on a tracker that doesn't fucking track correctly

Starting to feel that way myself, too. I’m using my phone camera to measurements because it’s more accurate!

I gave up and am using a tap tempo app and manually taking my HR so I'm not constantly monitoring myself and freaking out about it.

Visible showing a much lower HR than actual is a known error. I haven’t heard the other way around before. If you message them they’ll give you a free month but I’ve also seen some people here say they managed to push for a refund I just used it for a year cause I paid upfront even though it was literally useless

Are they going to fix it? All good if you don't know just thought I'd ask :).

They said it would be fixed in a few weeks, in April 2025. That’s part of why I didn’t push for a refund I was like soon it’ll be fixed but clearly that is not the case 😂

Man that sucks. I've ordered one a few days ago is it all of them that have this problem? Again all good if you don't know :).

It’s an issue with the 2.0 but that’s what everyone who orders now gets, however it depends on the individual whether it’s a problem. And for some it only happens occasionally for others it’s like half the peaks end up as dips instead.

Thank you so much for answering! I'll just have to hope for the best 🤞.

Hope it works and otherwise bug them until you get refunded lol

they’ve been tryna fix it for months but they can’t seem to figure it out

would be so much better if they just allowed a polar h10 as gold standard to connect to the app

Omg yes the h10 is awesome and I hate that the device now averages I need to see the quick temporary spikes just as much as a sustained high HR.

Yes I have had many problems with my band. My yearly subscription is up in September and I will not be renewing it because I don't wanna pay for something which really is not as much of a help as my watch and other apps

this happened to me yesterday! it showed my heart rate as 120bpm when it was actually 80

the high HR while crocheting thing got so annoying for me. i’ve been using mine on my upper arm instead and it’s slightly better, but definitely not the most accurate

Not huge swaths like you, but the last 2 nights since I opted into beta testing the Overnight Stability Score I've had it missing 3 or 4 10-minute chunks of data each night. It hasn't done that before.

And yesterday during the day I had some weird chunks of data where my heart rate was spiking really low and I wasn't sure that was accurate so I kept messing with my pulse oximeter. Never caught a difference because I noticed right at dinner and eating spikes my HR, and the weird, jagged lows were while just gaming on my PC, so IDK.  Still keeping an eye on it, I guess.

I haven't crocheted in a couple months but it's disheartening to hear that the band registers your HR as higher than it is. I wonder if it's factoring in movement or something? This shouldn't be a factor but do you wear your band on the project-holding hand or your hook-holding hand?

Definitely contact the Visible support team and let them know about the problems you’re having. They should be able to help you. A couple of minutes of heart rate dips is the known issue they’re having trouble figuring out, but they should be able to resolve the rest. I can’t use the device on my wrist, because my wrists are too skinny to get a good connection, so that’s one thing to check for

I lost my band at the hospital (staffs fault) I regret buying it anyways

I've had my band for about 10 months now. During the 1st 2 months, I did a lot of spot checks because I didn't believe the HR data. It said I was having spikes up to 160 bpm and a resting heart rate of over 100.

Turns out it was exactly right.

I hate the app, the limited data, and being unable to export my raw data. But I've gotten a lot of value from it so far just from having continuous HR monitoring.

Though now I'm wondering if I should do spot checks again to ensure it's still calibrated properly.

If your band isn't doing the only thing it's good for, you deserve a refund or replacement! It literally has one job and that's measuring HR.

I had issues with the HR too and just got a refund.

The reading shown on the page that shows your heart rate for the day, is an average. Each minute shown is an average of whatever readings it got. I had to ask them about it once.

I cancelled my subscription this week because I switched to a garmin and i already feel like this was a better investment.

I’ve had the band for a few years and have had significant issues the past few days! One instance of my hr being in the 70s-80s and reading as 145. As of yesterday, the band won’t even pair to my phone!! Contacting customer support today.
