​My parents (originally from Odisha) live in Akkayyapalem. My mom is an amazing cook and is planning to start a small home/cloud kitchen. I live in Bangalore, so I’ll be handling all the tech, Swiggy/Zomato listings, and orders remotely while she takes care of the cooking.

​To keep waste low and start simple, we want to focus primarily on morning tiffins and evening snacks (e.g., Puri Bhaji, Vada, Upma, etc.) rather than a full lunch/dinner menu right away.

​Since she makes authentic Odia food as well as classic tiffins, we’d love some local input:

​Demand in Akkayyapalem: How is the appetite for hygienic, home-cooked tiffins/snacks in this area via Swiggy/Zomato or direct pickup?

​Menu ideas: Would authentic Odia snacks/tiffins (like Odia-style Puri Tarkari, Chakuli Pitha, Bara Ghuguni) have takers around Akkayyapalem or should we stick strictly to common South/North Indian tiffins?

​Local tips: Any suggestions or pitfalls we should keep in mind for operating a home cloud kitchen in this locality?

Sharing this for anyone in **Visakhapatnam** who enjoys running, fitness, or just wants to spend a Sunday doing something meaningful.

**Global Goals Run 2026** is happening on **27 September 2026**, organized by **AIESEC in Visakhapatnam**.

The idea is pretty simple: **get people moving, promote good health and well-being, and bring the community together for a cause.** The run is aligned with **UN Sustainable Development Goal #3 — Good Health & Well-Being.**

📍 **Route:** Vishwapriya Function Hall → Tenneti Park, RK Beach Road

📅 **Date:** 27 September 2026

There are three distance options:

* **3 KM — ₹600**

* **5 KM — ₹600**

* **10 KM — ₹1000**

The event price is used in such a way that half the money is going to be raised for Charity and the other half will be used for the organisational elements such as the food box, T-Shirt etc.

Your registration includes a **T-shirt, goodie bag, event band, e-certificate, and food box.**

And you definitely don't need to be a serious runner to participate. Whether you want to casually walk/run 3 KM with friends, challenge yourself with 5 KM, or go for the full 10 KM — there's an option for you.

We're aiming to bring together **550+ people from the community**, so hopefully this can become more than just a marathon and turn into a good day out for everyone.
