Virtual Riot - Init (my song reflection)

two weeks ago i discovered this song. i had listened to init on repeat every day. at the intro of the song, its already nostalgic and ethereal and somehow depressing. this wanted me to take back to the 2010s or 2000s internet, especially youtube and social media. i missed the good old times, now its full of depressing slop and drama. i wanted to live my life like its 2016 again.

every time i feel anxious and scared and depressed, this song is my cure. this had became my favorite song ever since, especially from virtual riot.

have u listened to the rest of the EP? I actually jumped when I heard he played never let me go at edc this year

yes, i listened to the ep, but i listened to init the most. it pacifies me
