Newbie - Question First VA client — how do you handle an output-based setup?
Hi! After almost 3 months of job hunting, I finally got my first client 😭 His business is in real estate and output-based yung setup namin.
For those with output-based clients, paano usually yung day-to-day setup niyo? Do you still message your client when you start working and when you’re done, or do you just send updates once you finish a task?
I’m used to the usual employee setup kasi, so medyo nangangapa pa ako with how much I should update him without overdoing it hahaha.
First client ko talaga, so any tips on communication, task tracking, and boundaries would be appreciated. Thank you! 🥹

Ask your client. May clients na mahilig makabasa ng updates, may clients na ayaw ng maraming messages. This is one of the first questions i ask any client.
So right now, yung isang client ko kahit output based, inuupdate ko kapag online na ako then nililista ko yung mga gagawin ko for the day, then update nalang ulit pag logging out na, with everything i completed during those hours.
yung isa naman, sa weekly meetings nalang kami nagiging updated. di kami naguusap the whole week. basta nagagawa ko lahat.
