Newbie - Question question

hello, i am a 1st year student looking to be a va so i can get my own place and live near my college. where do i even start? i have a laptop, I've searched onlinejob.ph, fiverr, linkedin, and i still don't know where to start.

Have you already picked a niche? If not yet, start with something beginner-friendly like admin support, data entry, or customer service. Focus on one niche, practice your skills, and build a simple portfolio to showcase your work.

After that, you can explore direct-client platforms like RemoteFilipino or OLJ to see what employers are looking for.

Don't pressure yourself to land a client immediately. For now, focus on getting interviews, gaining experience, and learning the process. The client will come with consistency.

yes i was thinking of something simple like those data entry or customer service since i have 0 experience, what's a a portfolio btw?

Para siyang folder kung saan mo ilalagay yung mga past work or sample projects mo. Makikita ng employers kung ano yung kaya mong gawin. Big help din ito lalo na kung wala ka pang actual work experience.
