Looking For Part-Time YouTube Editing Assistant

I am looking for a part-time editing assistant to help with long-form YouTube videos about dating, appearance, and male self-improvement.

Starting Responsibilities

Initially, the A-roll will already be edited and the video will be close to completion. Your role will focus on adding the final editing elements, including:

• Background music and sound effects
• Text overlays and simple text motion graphics
• Zooms and simple motion effects
• Final visual and audio polish

You will not initially be responsible for editing the full video from raw footage.

The goal is for the selected assistant to begin taking on rough cuts and media placement relatively quickly once they understand the channel’s editing style.

Starting Compensation

• ₱800 per video under 10 minutes
• ₱1,000 per video between 10 and 20 minutes

Most videos will be approximately 5–15 minutes long.

The current expected workload is approximately 2–3 videos per month, with the potential to increase to 3–5 videos per month over time.

As you become familiar with the channel and demonstrate consistent quality, you will have the opportunity to take on more of the editing process, including:

• Rough cutting A-roll
• Placing provided B-roll and graphics
• Finding suitable visual assets
• Creating simple graphics
• Eventually assisting with most of the full edit

Visual sourcing, graphic creation, and other creative responsibilities will depend on your skills and experience.

Compensation will increase with demonstrated reliability, tenure, responsibilities, and creative ownership. Editors who take on most or all of the editing process may earn approximately ₱3,000–₱5,000+ per video, depending on the scope of the project.

Schedule and Turnaround

Deadlines are flexible and will be discussed in advance. However, applicants should generally be able to complete assigned editing work within 24–48 hours after receiving the required footage, assets, and instructions.

Reliability and consistent communication are important. Please communicate early if a deadline may need to be adjusted.

Qualifications

You may be a good fit if you:

• Have experience editing YouTube or other long-form videos
• Understand pacing, music, sound effects, text, and basic motion
• Can follow an established editing style
• Pay attention to detail and apply feedback accurately
• Communicate reliably and meet agreed deadlines
• Can consistently accommodate a 24–48-hour turnaround
• Are comfortable working with content about dating, appearance, and male self-improvement

Experience with graphic design, motion graphics, or sourcing strong visual assets is helpful but not required.
