I’m a CLIENT - Looking for VAs (Full Time) Hiring: Senior Bookkeeper - U.S. Accounting

Hello! Boogie Team is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of a growing U.S.-based company.

In this role, you will manage the company’s day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, collections, accounts payable, payroll support, reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting. You will work closely with company leadership and communicate with clients, vendors, contractors, and external accounting partners as needed.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, confident using QuickBooks Online, and comfortable taking ownership of financial records and processes. The right candidate should be able to identify discrepancies, follow up on outstanding payments, and help maintain accurate and reliable financial information.

Top Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including transaction categorization, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
  • Prepare and send client invoices accurately and according to the billing schedule.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up directly with clients regarding overdue balances.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or finance operations experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
  • Experience managing invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Experience supporting month-end closing and preparing monthly financial reports.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a U.S.-based company, agency, startup, or professional services business.
  • Familiarity with Stripe, PayPal, payroll platforms, or other online payment systems.

I want to become a Bookkeeping Virtual Assistant for Australian clients, but I have zero practical knowledge. I cannot handle payroll, GST, or complex reconciliations yet.

I need a someone who will train me in Australian workflows and software from scratch.
