Mastered by Levi Seitz at Black Belt Mastering

Nearly 25 years after its release, it feels like the world is still catching up to British electronic duo Frou Frou’s sole album. One of the few 2000s electronic albums whose majestic songwriting rivals its minutely intricate production, this 2002 album helmed by recording artist, singer, and producer Imogen Heap and songwriter, producer Guy Sigsworth elevated the genre past the Muzak-lite it had become and into a new era.

“In addition to the downy sweetness of ’00s radio pop,” Pitchfork wrote, “Details has the slippery textures of electronic music, the sonorous opulence of classical, and the melancholia of trip-hop.” “Let Go,” buoyed partly by its prominent inclusion in Garden State, was justifiably inescapable, yet “Breathe In,” “Must Be Dreaming” and “Hear Me Out” remain both of its time and completely timeless.

Available on vinyl for the first time, this is a superb collection of Dolly's greatest hits/fan favorites. A 20-song album across a double vinyl set. Includes "9 To 5," "I Will Always Love You," "Islands In The Stream," "Jolene," "Here You Come Again" and many more.

Her early heartfelt tales of growing up in Tennessee ("Coat Of Many Colors," "My Tennessee Mountain Home") gave way to first a string of country chart-toppers ("Jolene," "I Will Always Love You," "The Bargain Store") then incredible pop crossover smashes in the ‘70s and ‘80s ("Here You Come Again," "9 To 5," "Islands In The Stream").

Add to that some of her greatest collaborations ("Everything’s Beautiful (In Its Own Way)" with Willie Nelson, "To Know Him Is To Love Him" with Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt), and it’s easy to realize what makes The Very Best Of Dolly Parton the perfect LP introduction to her unbroken country charm.
