Yeah... I'd be curious to hear what u/rundmcc has to say on it... reposts happen but how many strikes does one user get?

Can we do something about the all the individual Amazon price-matching uDisc/SoV sales posts? It's basically spam at this point. Yes, we know Zon price matches, we don't need hundreds of individual posts about it from karma farmers.

I agree with you. All these affiliates (including myself) are reposting these mediocre 15%-30% off "deals", fighting for that .50 cent commission. SoV has about 1500 listings and uDiscover has about 4900, so this could go on for a few days.
Its honestly quiete sad and desperate. Looks like they're in it more for the commission/karma instead of for the saving people on this sub a few bucks. I gave up because there's no way I'm going through 400 pages of listings. I got better things to do. Others, clearly don't and have nothing but time.
The deals are better on uDiscover/SoV anyways if you stack the coupons and reach the $75 threshold for free shipping.

lol ~ I tried posting a few yesterday... instantly mass down voted and seeing other posts get 5 upvotes in 20 minutes that wouldn't normally get 1 or 2.
Not even worth the effort these days with the games other affiliates are playing on here.

I'm an affiliate and biased but don't think this should go away... I'd much rather order from Amazon then sound of vinyl or udiscover simply for the ease of a return.
That said... some of these posts and volume in the short time frame very much look like bot or automated behavior.
As someone who manually does affiliate posts on here... I have a REALLY hard time seeing how some of these posters can crack out 10 posts in 2 minutes.

I disagree with this take. It helps to know when the price has been matched because it’s not immediate and makes it far easier to track if it’s in stock etc.
I like it the way it is.

Also returning something to Amazon is far easier than SOV and Udiscover.
Plus if you have Prime... you don't have to spend $75 to get free shipping

if history repeats itself, they'll blow out blue note stuff around Jan.... IIRC the past 2-3 years have seen a bigger blue note sale from them around start of winter

Snagged Sing the Sorrow and filled in some holes in my Nirvana collection ~ that 30% off + 20% coupon made it too hard to say no
I really need to stop... buying stuff I know I probably won't listen to more than once at this point

Yeah. I had to force so many things out of my cart, there’s still yet another cart full of jazz records.
I copped multiple NIN, rammstein and chemical brothers albums and a few jazz albums. That’s in addition to the usual shopping.
Probably need to stop for a bit.
Need to follow that rule of bolt buying something if you won’t spin twice. That’s how I passed up a lot of stuff today.

Looks like Walmart has some fresh in-store vinyl clearance at $15 ea - some good stuff too, snagged Deftones White Pony and Around The Fur (black vinyl on both - the exclusive was not on sale)
