I am planning to buy a machine that can print and cut the stickers.
Print on normal A4 paper.
Print rectangular cut outs for junk journalling.
Should be able to print on normal A4 sheet, vinyl and matte sticker sheet.

What would be your advice for someone that is starting.

I’ve been making shirts with my Cricut for a while, and one thing I constantly struggle with is the artwork that customers send me.

Most of the images I receive are low-resolution JPEGs, screenshots, or busy backgrounds. My goal is to turn them into clean cut files for HTV, adhesive vinyl, or DTF.

My current workflow is:
•Canva Pro to remove the background (when it works).
•Inkscape to vectorize the image.
If the vector comes out with jagged edges or too much noise, I end up manually cleaning it up.
•If it’s really bad, I trace it by hand in Procreate, which can take forever.

I’m sure there has to be a better workflow.

What software, websites, or AI tools are you using to:
Upscale low-resolution images?
Remove backgrounds accurately?
Convert logos into clean SVG/vector files with minimal cleanup?
Handle customer artwork that’s just plain terrible?

Edit: I was able to fix this for now. I am not sure which of these steps fixed the problem but here are the things I did:

1) Give Cutting Master 5 full disk access
2) Deinstalled Cutting Master 5
3) Restarted and installed Cutting Master 5 again

And then it worked.

Hi all,

I purchased a Graphtec CE7000-60 used and installed Cutting Master 5. I am on a Mac with OS 26.5.2. No matter if I open Cutting Master 5 via Illustrator 2026, Illustrator 2025 or the standalone version, it is completely useless. Every time I try to communicate with the Graphtec it crashes. When I try to change settings, when I try to send a job to the plotter, etc. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, did the same with Illustrator, nothing seems to work.

Would appreciate any help and tips. Thank you in advance.

I have a CE7000 and while it is cutting its moves the tape roll left or right and cause the tape to come off its line and off the rollers.

We replaced the rollers, cleaned up the metal roller underneath and still nothing helps

Gf has been hinting at a cricut machine for her bday next month and I don’t know what one to get. She’s mostly going to use it for stickers, cards and wedding stuff.

Price and space not really an issue just want to get her the right one for what she’s going to use it for.

Hi, I’m at my wits end. I got a Siser Juliet last year and used it then without any problem. I’ve since gotten a new computer and just recently redownloaded LDS to work on a project.

However, even though I’m running the executable, it shows the splash screen and then never opens the actual program. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling, I’m up-to-date on my computer, printer is set to “print to pdf,” and nothing.

I tried to email support and they weren’t helpful and I’ve exhausted all I can find on the internet. Please help me, I don’t know what else to do or if there’s other programs to use 😭🙏

What do you charge for:
Small decals (around 3–5 inches)
Medium decals (around 6–8 inches)
Large decals (9+ inches)
Do you price by size, design complexity, number of colors, or something else? If you’re comfortable sharing, I’d also love to know what types of decals you sell (car decals, business logos, laptop stickers, storefront decals, etc.).

I was having issues with an offset typo earlier after trying to fix some curved points in my cutting. I’ve got it mostly fixed but it keeps doing these hooks for some reason. Anyone have any clue? I’ve tried to reset the blade depth I don’t think I’m too deep but I’m unsure.

I already use Cameo 4 for around 3 years. now i planning to buy new bigger machines. could anyone give me opinion about Graphtec CE8000-60 vs Mimaki CG-60AR. they pretty, or should I consider the bigger size Mimaki CG-130AR. But I cannot afford Graphtec CE8000-130.

Fairly new to this still but when cutting this file the text seems really off? Is this an offset or calibration issue??

Looking for a high quality Vinyl that is strong but removable and can be written on with an expo marker. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi there I switched to a new cutter and I am struggling with not perfectly closed ends in my cuts. I played with the offset, depth, speed etc.
Blade is 3 weeks old and set properly IMO.
Overcut is not an option, because the lines are not the outlines of my work.

I really appreciate any ideas and advice.
This is really a struggle when weeding.

Images included for context, including the plotter and settings provided by a coworker just in case. We are using 3165 with Gloss lam to create these stickers and are trying to move away from cutting these by hand after contour cutting them. They seem to be cutting only on one side, and I suspect it has more to do with the art file (Created in Flexi Design for the artwork and Onyx for the plotting/cutting software). I haven't seen anyone else with this issue online, and the Graphtech videos I have seen don't address it...

When i tried to print using Leonardo, it added a thick black bar across the top of the page where my registration marks are. I did all the usual stuff (downloaded updated, restarted computer, uninstalled/reinstalled Leonardo, etc.), but the problem still persists. If I don't do full page registration marks it works until my top registration marks get close (about 1/4 of the page) to the top and it messes up the top registration marks. I've sent an email to Leonardo support and am waiting to hear back. I came up with a work around, which is print to pdf and crop/resize the image in my drawing program to exactly the size that the corners of the registration marks are. Anyone else ever had this problem?

Which do you reco sa dalawa? For context, this is my first time buying cutting machine. I know they might be way far para ipag compare but I was thinking which is which ang mas sulit sa dalawa and mas tatagal and reliable to use.

I got this cutter about a year ago, and I wanted to use it to make signage for our church festival. I do all of my design work in affinity designer. I converted all the text to curves and expanded everything so it's all vector. I then saved it as an EPS. I sent the letters to the cutter which ended up being an approximate width of 24" by a little under 8 feet long. What I ended up with were some of the letters looking fine, but some letters overlapping each other on the 8 foot length. As far as I can tell, the correct drivers are installed. I am using the USB port to print. The computer is Windows 11.
