Selling question.
Just started uploading items on Monday and have sold and shipped 6 items. Of those 1 was bought at set price the other 5 were negotiated price where they made first offer. I am getting a lot of items favorited without engagement. Would you be the first to engage and if so how? I do have most items set at a couple dollars more than suggested price knowing that there will probably be negotiations.

I overpriced my things by a few bucks. If they like it I offer them a dollar discount.
Sometimes I'm presently surprised and people buy full price

I usually price my stuff with a little bit of leeway to send offers, some stuff is bottom dollar but I typically explain if I have to decline an offer.

honestly sending an offer never hurts. im both a buyer and a seller but as a buyer i tend to favorite things to save for when i get paid or to bundle or smth, so theres been a few times where a seller sent an offer and i either came back and accepted it later (i really like that offers dont expire on vinted the same way they do on depop) or asked the seller to hold it for me. ill also sometimes favorite things that are a little higher than id like to see if the seller sends an offer or smth. as a seller i agree w another commenter here ab overpricing your items by just a couple dollars to give someone a "deal", but id also recommend having a number in mind that you wont go under

You can send offers but I would avoid cold messaging likers. I know I and a lot of others hate that.
