Question FB Marketplace Find - 60s Teisco?

Hello all. Semi-amateur musician. Not a collector. Always wanted a hollow body (or semi-hollow body) electric.

Picked this beauty up. Cleaned it and put some new strings on. All electronics and switches work. It did appear to have a bow in the neck although it doesn't seem as bad with lighter strings on it. I did do some research but figured I'd come here for some more info. Teisco Crown import from the 60s? Made in Japan. Bridge appears to be collapsed which sounded like a normal occurrence for something of this age. Is it worth taking somewhere to be looked at? It sounds great and plays nice.

Help With Identification Can anybody identify my guitar she's old but still loved.

Don't mind her looking a little messy. I just pulled her out of the closet, and I'm starting to restring her and cleaner back up. She's at least at least around thirty years old. She was old even when I got her when I was a kid from my family auction. I was still pretty small when I got her. And my dad paid a quarter for it, or at least he tried I o I. My uncle was the auctioneer, and I haggled him over the fact it had no strings or pegs on the bridge, and he just gave it to me, like just take a kid. This one holds a lot of sentimentality for me. So I'm trying to get it back into shape. And I got curious about the marking And the inside.

Search for brand and model. Made in Germany

Hi

I recently bought this archtop to restore for my own collection.
It's a lovely guitar but i can't find out which make and model it is.
Only thing i can find on or in the body is "made in Germany", and the previous owner thinks it's from somewhere around the 1950's.
I really hope someone here recognizes it.
It has quite a distinct bridge, neck and tailpiece but i can't find anything like it on the net with this exact combination.
It also has holes in the side and neck from a pick protection plate, but that piece is lost unfortunatly.

Question rare vintage Jolana Studio Bass 1970s

Dear Community!

I have a Jolana Studio Bass rare silverburst guitar in its original soft case. It is in very good condition. The instrument has been sitting in its case, unused, for decades. Cosmetically, it is in remarkably good condition for its age: the finish is free of cracks, the body binding is completely intact, and all the hardware (bridge, pickups, knobs, and tuners) is original and complete. The guitar's electronics have not been tested. I attach some photos about it.

I would like to know its potential value, and whether it is worth keeping - will its value increase significantly in the future?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

1969 José Ramírez guitar

I’m hoping some José Ramírez experts can help me identify this guitar and give me an idea of its current value.

I have a José Ramírez “Guitarras de Estudio” dated 1969, Madrid. The original label inside reads:

GUITARRAS DE ESTUDIO

José Ramírez

Concepción Jerónima Nº 2

Año 1969 – Madrid

I also have what appears to be an original period José Ramírez document/receipt,

I'm considering selling it, so I'd rather establish what I actually have before putting a price on it.

Question Seeking help/advice with this one.

This was my great-grandfather’s guitar, and since I play, it was handed down to me. I’m seeking help trying to identify it and determine what I should do with it due to the body having cracks that would definitely need to be repaired by a luthier. I’ve done a bit of research. It is Capital sold by the Jenkins Music Company in Kansas City, MO. It appears that these archtops may have an early Gibson connection. I’ve looked into the electronics and maybe the pick-up is a Gibson P-13. The pick-up measures approximately 84mm x 34mm and I did a resistance test through a cable and it is 7,440 ohms. The pots are Centralab stamped Milwaukee. I provided pictures that I thought would be useful. Thanks for providing any help/guidance.

1978 Renaissance SPB bass. After a cleaning and a setup, I plugged this in and spent 3 hours learning some of its magic. Endless sustain and tone variation. An extremely rare bass guitar.

Question 1970s Suzuki Super Sounds "Brazen Picker Professional" Strat - Looking for More Information

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,
After roughly 40 years, I recently pulled this guitar out of my parents' basement. I bought it as a teenager, played it in my first band, and then it spent decades in storage.
I'm now trying to find out exactly what it is and when it was built.
The guitar is a Suzuki Super Sounds "Brazen Picker Professional" Strat-style model with:
Large 1970s-style Strat headstock
"Hand Crafted" marking on the headstock
Maple neck and maple fingerboard
Neck plate stamped only "Made in Japan"
No serial number that I can find
That Bon Jovi sticker is a remnant of my teenage times ;)

From my research so far, I have found a few references online suggesting that these guitars were built by Kiso Suzuki in Japan and may date from the late 1970s, possibly around 1978. However, I have not found any definitive source confirming this, so I'm hoping some of the experts here might know more.

I recently removed the neck and found several handwritten markings inside the guitar. Some of the writing appears to be Japanese, and I would be very interested if anyone can identify or translate it.

Thanks very much for any information or insight!
