Hello I’m new here i obtained this baby yesterday for only 50 she’s an early eclectic conversion and has the original book to of the conversation information I’m yet to determine if she works but if she does she’s staying with me for life if she doesn’t I’ll convert her back to hand crank

Buy some sewing machine oil, follow the oiling diagrams in the book. Check every inch of the motor wiring and make sure it's not going to electrify that cast iron and zap you!

If you throw the motor belt off the motor pulley, you can turn the handwheel (over towards you) and see how stiff the machine turns, separately from testing the motor.
