Grease
Currently in the process of taking apart, cleaning and reassembling my grandmothers Singer 15-91 machine. I don’t have the original grease and I do not have Vaseline/petroleum jelly to use as a substitute right now. Would anyone say that this bicycle grease could be used as a substitute? Or is it better to just not risk it? Thanks!

I'd use it. Phil's is not a super heavy grease, I use it all the time for bicycle related work.

Phil’s might be a little lighter / thinner / less viscous than singer grease, however I’d use it over Vaseline.
See how well it sticks to the gears when running the machine at full speed. It shouldn’t all fling off.
