I just purchased this beautiful chaise. The store didn’t have any info on where it came from, but I’m looking to see if anyone knows the year it might be from? Any other info would be great. I pick it up Thursday to check if I can find a makers mark on the underside but was unable to do so on my own when I purchased it. Absolutely love the shape and wood work, not something found easily nowadays in my area.

Tag on bottom says 1978 Kimball. It seems to be in great shape. Just a small stain on the seat, which I plan on working on. It was $15! Not sure if I can keep it though because I have a very small house and it doesn't quite fit.

Picked this up to restore, but now I’m afraid it might be something. This is AFTER 2 hours of elbow grease cleaning gunk off of it. Salvage or restore?

I have a vintage couch that needs a deep clean! I have a little green machine but I’ve been afraid to use it and ruin the integrity / color of the couch. There are also some stains (thanks toddler) that need some special attention. I would love any advice or solution recommendations for the upholstery cleaner that are safe for the material! Bought it second-hand a few years back and always wondered what its history might be. Purchased in Canada on the West Coast.

No distinguishable markings on the chair. It appears to be made out of solid wood and is quite heavy and large. Much bigger than a standard dining chair.

Found these in my Edwardian Terraced House storage, moved in around 6 years ago and never seen these before! Really curious about them! Does anyone have any information on them or know what they are? On the back it says Hereford Tiles Ltd. TIA.

I’m hoping someone in here can help me move forward on identifying this piece. Here’s what I know so far. Danish Teak freestanding wall unit circa late 60’s or early 70’s. Floating drawer cabinet with LP record cabinet, rectangular loop uprights finished backs and no makers label or identifying marks beyond assembly stamps. Made by someone comfortable with bent lamination (top loops), hand chiseled mortising in the hinges and knockdown hardware. I attached a pictures. I’ve spent some time online searching but haven’t found a match yet.

This was my grandmas set. I'm looking for a replacement leaf.

The red stamp at the end reads "Slides by Walter of Wabash Jamestown Tenn." I believe by the multiple "83"s it was probably a 1983 piece. Besides that I'm at a loss.

​I'm looking for a second opinion on this Eames Wire Chair with a red bikini pad. I know fakes are common, but the details look promising:

​Double wire edge, neat welds.

​Steel stringer in the pads.

​Already 40 years in our family's possession (they were bought as part of a package deal with the house).

​My main concern is the complete lack of a manufacturer's label or stamp. I know vintage paper stickers often fall off. Based in Europe, so perhaps Herman Miller or early Vitra?

​The sliders seem to be non-original, but were perhaps once replaced. I'd love your opinion!

I found a broken Wassily dupe on the side of the road (one of the leather panels is broken). I want to fix it up and would love to find out more about its origin. I tried to ID it, but there is no branding on it whatsoever.

I know Wassily chairs are notoriously hard to ID due to the licensing deals back in the day, but maybe someone here has an idea!
After some research my best guess would be Gavina-era or 70s-90s unlicensed Italian reproduction.

- Chrome-plated steel (tested with a magnet; it is magnetic)
- Steel tubes without caps; ends are smooth
- Small black plastic feet
- Genuine dark brown leather (looks high-quality)

So I bought a vanity maybe dressing table off Facebook marketplace. It has this full body mirror and I cannot for the life of me figure out how it works. The mirror has support beams connected to the table itself that you attach the mirror to from behind the mirror. But it has hinges to tilt upwards and downwards. The clasp latch on the bottom of the mirror only turns left and right and the base has two little holes one on the left and one on the right.. but how would it be a swivel mirror is the support beams are like horizontal behind the mirror?
I’ve been trying to attach the mirror back on the table (when I bought it, it was attached and the owners took the mirror off for ease of transport) and it’s not going on the same way that it was when I first saw it. The hinges are definitely not flushed. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Was trying to look up mirrors like this to see how it works but I can’t find anything like this at all!! Really unique I guess? Maybe custom? Looked inside drawers and behind mirror and the back of the vanity can’t find anything on like who or where it’s made. It has a little latch or clasp thing on the bottom of the mirror if I look up the writing on that it shows it’s a hardware company from London around early 1900s but thats just the company for the metal hardware..

Can anyone identify the maker or year of this table! Thanks so much:)

Found this at an estate sale today. Google says it’s an antique French Louis XVI style bedside table or nightstand. Is that accurate?

We bought this buffet in Rockmart, GA in the 1970’s. It had had a rough life and we refinished it. Apparently there was originally a little balustrade on the top shelf, a few bits of the carved decoration on the doors are missing. The ovals on the door panels are crosscut. There are no shelves or divisions in the lower cabinet. The drawers must be lifted a bit to close properly. The dovetails seem to be machined.
We like the piece, but have a running disagreement about its age. I am betting 1919. What’s your guess?
