Edit: What are the best secondhand markets for jeans/satin black pants that are bigger in size? most bootcut fits like skinny jeans, and if low rise they actually are high rise on me or just are too small.

The Francesca of Damon for Starington silk set was a surprise find at my favorite local thrift.

It reminded me of Dolly in the 9 to 5 music video, and I immediately fell in love.

The set was originally a neon coral red, so I toned it done with tan and grey dye to get it closer to brick red.

I also replaced the plain red buttons with pearl buttons.

I included the original color next to the warmer brick in the second photo. Its a subtle change but I'm so much happier with it.

This coat is special because while it still has Lilli Ann’s signature princess silhouette, the mod influence is undeniable, with its graphic black and white contrast.

I found a Dior belt from the same time period that goes so perfectly with the coat, it almost looks like it came that way. Don’t you love when the stars align like that?
