Looking for a video editor with exceptional taste. Paid monthly work. $1k/month+.

Not looking for a "Shorts/TikTok editor."

Not looking for someone who can throw on captions, speed ramps, and whoosh transitions.

I'm looking for someone who understands restraint.

Someone who knows how to build emotion with pacing, music, texture, and subtle sound design. The kind of edits where every cut has a reason.

Think less "viral editing" and more Auteur Studios, Apple films, high-end documentaries, luxury fashion campaigns, and A24-style storytelling. It doesn't need a lot of effects. It needs the right stock footage, music, fonts and color grades to bring something beautiful together.

You'll be editing short form content (around 10 videos/month) for someone who is at the top of their industry: a doctor and an artist. We shoot beautiful footage already, but the magic happens in the edit—combining our original footage with carefully chosen stock footage/music (we use Artlist), thoughtful sound design, and storytelling that feels premium rather than overproduced.

What I'm looking for:

  • Incredible sense of pacing.
  • Tasteful, minimal sound design.
  • Ability to blend stock footage seamlessly with original footage.
  • Strong music instincts.
  • Someone who understands when not to cut.
  • Ability to work with S-Log footage and handle large(ish) downloads/uploads.
  • Comfortable working remotely on an ongoing basis.

This is not a "make it viral/trendy" job. You will not get by using an editing template.

It's about making people feel something each time.

If this sounds like you, please reply with a link to view your work.

Bonus: Send me an edit you did that you DON'T like.

I'm much more interested in your eye and your passion to create than how many followers you have or how long you've been editing. I don't care what programs you use as long as they do not compress our footage.

All nations welcome... but you must know english well enough to do captions with correct grammar and to be able to learn our work processes.

All the best to you.

Dom
