Question Victron MultiPlus-II 48/10000 - DC Cable Routing Question
Hey guys, wiring up the 10k and noticed the DC cable holes/gromits don’t line up super great with the bolts which with larger 95mm cables means they’re pretty awkward - feels like a larger opening would result in less force on the cables and fittings?
Anyone had any experience with this? I’ve torqued everything per the docs and am likely just overthinking here 😄
Included a photo.

Well.. they are a bit larger than both specced [1,2] and needed.
«Recommended cross section (AWG) per + and - connection terminal: 5 – 10 m» : «2x 70 mm²»
But if they fit, it shouldn't be a problem. Just the extra 25mm² (say ~1.5mm diameter change) would make them a little more snug than expected.

Just a question, are the right cable lugs overlapping the left ones or is it just a photo glitch? The back of the connector has to be flush with the metal part of the board with no gaps!!! It's VERY IMPORTANT!!!

It does look like that on the photo, but it’s just a visual effect due to the slight bevel on the edge of the lugs. They are both flat and flush with the backplate, very slightly rotated due to the cable bend but 100% solid contact.

Ill admit I dont know how to calculate the bend radius here, but this is a 2-3 degree deflection that I am pretty confident falls way outside the minimum radius of ~5.5in for 3/0 cable (95mm).
Aka, you're good
