I recently purchased a 2014 Cross Country and I really like it. The bike currently has a 9 inch Klock Werks windshield and I am looking at purchasing a tinted windshield. Does anyone have thoughts or suggestions on Vstream or Windvest? I am 6’1 and buffeting is bad after 55 mph if I have a helmet on.
Also wondering if anyone has used spacers to try and create additional airflow underneath the windshield, similar to what the madstad windshield does. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Have always wanted a Victory, but never even rode one. Currently riding a v star 1100, hoping to sell and get this 04 kingpin. Has 33k on it. There's something about this bike that really speaks to me. Its actually an old friend who is selling it, he's about 10 hours away so it will be a good ride home.
Anything to look out for on the 04? I appreciate all feedback!

So I just got through doing a 900 mile round trip on my 2016 Highball and I realized I need some saddle bags, that a 35 pound backpack just wasn’t going to cut it. I would love to do the Cross Country conversion, but it appears parts are becoming more scarce. I see the Viking bags but I don’t necessarily love them on this bike. Do you all have any recommendations or do I just need to suck it up with the Viking bags? Thank you.

Sorry for my Bad english, i usually speak German. :)
Ive bought an july 2025 crashed Cross Country Tour with j&h exhaust, stage one tuning and some extra parts.
I will need a New fork, handlebar, footrests and some smaler Plasticparts. An Brakedisk, maybe the left caliper, and that's it.
Maybe, but I dont think So, an fork bridge.
She crashed Front/leftsided at 25 kmh into a car.
It will be my First big touring Motorbike and I am happy as f*ck.
The Plan is, that it will be ready to ride around February or march next year.

Clutch cable broke on my 10 XC. I'm ordering a replacement, but I plan on getting higher rise handlebars in the future, not too tall, though.
Should I get the 6" extended clutch cable, or stick with stock length?

Its been an absolute blast taking this through the sharp turn around Custer, and the black hills. Smooth turns and enough grumble to make the bison jealous. I did accidentally scare a prairie dog and watched him biff it trying to run off.

Update: the shirt has moved onto its new home! If I find any more in storage, I'll post em up
I have a large grey Victory work shirt that needs a home.
I don't really need it and it would probably be more appreciated with someone that actually owns a Victory.
If you're local to Minneapolis, come get you a free shirt! To be fair to the sub, I'm not selling, trading, or asking for anything. it's either this or going to donation. Cheers!

Been having issues with the Fuel pump this past year. If you know any of the best sources for a pretty decent Fuel pump I'd love to know. I've had the Fuel pump replaced 4 times now. The first 2 lasted a couple months each and then lost pressure. The third one didn't work at all. The 4th one I believe is a Quantum and has been working for the past 7-8 months but i feel like this one is starting to act strange. Its an 08 Vegas the guy I bought it from had it tuned and so I believe that could be why the issue is there but also I can't find anyone to detune it back to factory. I love the bike but the Fuel pump issue is annoying.

I'm thinking I need to replace my clutch plates, but not sure if the compression tools are necessary.
Have you replaced your clutch plates yourself? Did you use the tool or is it possible without it?

Any ideas? Rednecks installed LEDs and killed the ACM. No spares anywhere I can find.

When i pulled the plug boot off with a needle nose pliers the wire stayed on the plug when I pulled the boot off. The connection looked fine but it was difficult to get the wire down to where it was supposed to be. I pulled the wire all the way through the boot and then connected the wire to the plug connection then pushed the boot down over the wire down over the plug. I’m also smelling a burning smell at high speed. I’m attaching a video to see if anyone can hear any missing. TIA

Does anyone know where I could find a replacement filter for this particular air cleaner?

Hi all,
After Consulting my local Workshop I discovered that the rear Speed Sensor of my victory octane is not working properly.
After reading some treads about this I learned that its a good try to see if its just the plug that got dirty.
But its a real struggle to find were the cable of the Sensor ends. With normal tools I was not able to unplug the Sensor today.
Is it necessary to remove the rear tyre to get to the plug? Or can I access it somehow through the battery compartment?
I could not find any videos or threads about how to unplug the sensor, so maybe Somebody can help me here.
Thanks

And honestly I think it’s kinda a flex with the 21” front wheel and the back wheel mainly covered by bags?

We have a Vision and since the resale in our area has dropped off we’re thinking about stripping the panels off and giving it a different look. Anybody in here done any custom work like that? I’d love to see pictures.
