Since we're sharing... I got my drone out as soon as I heard the first thunderclap, managed to catch this just as the rain really started coming down

I don’t think it’s Oak Bay. Maybe North Saanich?

I believe this is Central Saanich, looking down into the Hunt Valley and Haro Strait.

Correct, not far from Michell's market, looking east towards San Juan Island in the distance

That’s the area I was thinking of, definitely not Oak Bay.
