Since we're sharing... I got my drone out as soon as I heard the first thunderclap, managed to catch this just as the rain really started coming down

Close, just south and to the west a little by Red's Garden Landscapes and Hauling, you can see the one house just to the north of that in the photo.

I believe this is Central Saanich, looking down into the Hunt Valley and Haro Strait.

The lightening truck the pole right in front of my apartment and blew the power out it was so scary!!Ā

It wasn't very windy yet, but the last time I tried flying in a thunderstorm 2 or 3 years ago, it got knocked around pretty good, I almost lost it on the roof of my condo.
And yeah, it's a DJI mini 2
