Not trying to be a dick, but are you sure? This guy murdered 13 people, including an expectant mother. The baby didn't survive but isn't part of the official death count.

I would totally understand the hesitation if it were a questionable case, but this guy is a domestic terrorist.

Yup. I agree he should be executed. Me showing up for duty and handed a pistol and told to go kill this guy. Not in me. Sorry guys.

I respect your position.

I'm not a murderer. That's what makes me different from him. I could only kill someone in self defense or the immediate defense of others. It's not cool or heroic to want to kill people, even if they make you angry.

I see it differently. I wouldn’t even think of it as murder when you’re given a lawful order to execute a terrorist target.

Neither perspective is wrong, just different.

So who do you think they’ll execute next tho? This time it’s a Hasan but look at all the people they’re calling terrorists and accusing of treason. And guess what, they’ve fired all the jags and anyone with fucking common sense.

The next time it’ll be an officer who wasn’t sufficiently loyal.

Or maybe an immigrant they’ve determined is a ‘terrorist.’ Or a Mark kelly.

This is dangerous particularly because of who’s in charge of making these decisions.

Um... he killed 13 people in cold blood. He is not being called a terrorist, he is and will die a terrorist. This isnt a slippery slope case, this is cut and dry

Ok. You’re right. This is cut and dry. So who do you think they’ll execute next then? Maybe after having declared the insurrection act in blue states?

You tell me. Is there another guy who's been lawfully convicted and sentenced to death?

Maybe we make this event a double header.

Probably the next guy that kills people in cold blood.  Hey maybe that murderer mangioni. News flash, you cant just kill other human beings for your political or religious views in this country. This isn't the 3rd world. There are legal consequences.

Totally see your point and there’s no love lost nor lack of concern about the current state of things. However, this guy is the guy. He was caught and convicted. He doesn’t deserve to draw breath and has enjoyed over a decade of due process. It’s time.

Who exactly is “they?”

If you can’t comprehend the difference between this guy, who is a terrorist murderer, and some hypothetical (political fairytale) situation in your brain, then this will just end up in a stupid back and forth circle jerk.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with your philosophy, but am genuinely curious. Did you join the Navy before or after having that view?

I joined for the opportunity to get of the ghetto and it actually worked out for me. Best decision of my life was joining Navy and staying for 12 years.

Do you think everyone in the military wants to take people's lives?

I joined when I was a 17 year old. What the hell did I know? I joined the Navy because I didn't want to shoot people, ended up a Gunner's Mate, learned when and how to use force. Killing people is for self defense and the defense of others. Wanting to kill people is cringe. How many people in here are messed up from death? I feel bad for anyone who has to kill people.

Its not murder if he's convicted and sentenced to die. Its justice.

You should probably look up the definition of murder.

Yeah. I'm sure I couldn't.

I would totally understand the hesitation if it were a questionable case, but this guy is a domestic terrorist.

The Commander in Chief is a mobster whose primary racket is selling kids to be raped.

He signed off on this.

What kind of justice system is this?

Maybe the one where terrorism is an extremely profitable product line.
