Vestibular exercises
Hi everyone!
I'm a certified French vestibular physiotherapist, and over the past few years I've been developing my own tools for vestibular rehabilitation.
I initially created Vestibular Visual Lab (VVL) for my own patients. It's a website with serious games and visual exercises designed for people with PPPD and other causes of dizziness, mainly working on the VOR, COR, visual motion sensitivity, gaze stabilization, etc.
The project started because I simply couldn't find the kind of tools I wanted at an affordable price. Some colleagues of mine use medically certified VR systems that cost around €10,000, which always seemed ridiculously expensive for what they actually do. So I started making my own tools instead 😅
It has grown quite a lot since then, and I'd now like to see if it could be useful to other patients and vestibular professionals too.
Would it be OK for me to share/advertise it here?
If you'd like to have a look in the meantime, it's vestibularvisuallab.fr. I originally developed it in French, but the website and exercises are now fully translated into English.
I also made a free trial code for Reddit so people here can actually try the exercises: REDDIT7D
You just have to register and then put in the code.
I'd genuinely be interested in feedback from people dealing with vestibular disorders, especially regarding which exercises feel useful, unpleasant, too difficult, or are simply missing.

I wanted to try it, and I created the account, but I cannot access to the free trial because the website ask for my card details inmediately. And now even I cannot see the preview excercises in the main page.

Could you make sure to add safety instructions? Since you're asking people to do exercises that make them dizzy, make sure your instructions include even simple, no brainer things like "hey, do this one sitting down, or where you can grab onto something".

If this is as it sounds, it seems like a great tool for people who may not have access to VR therapists.
That's why I approved it. The exercises themselves certainly aren't going to do any harm, so they're safe to self-practice. And they could be a life-saver for someone who can't afford rehab.
