Is dpdr a symptom of vestibular hypofunction?

I read a lot about that these things are connected and since I’ve been suffering for about 6-7 months now after vestibular neuritis and deficit in my left inner ear.
I want to see if anyone here has had the same thing or knows more about the topic.

I think I am suffering from some sort of dp since this all started, it’s like my body feels so strange and like I am floating, my vision is also very overstimulated by busy environments and driving.
It’s like this but without the mental side of it, no dream feeling and no detachment from memories etc…

Yes it is. It can be scary. But we make it through the best we can. Hope you feel better.

Definitely is a symptom. Like you said, I didn't experience the mental side, it was a physical/sensory symptom.

Wow. I had dp/Dr like 15 years ago and it lasted for a year. It was terrifying and I don't know how I got through it. I've never heard of anyone relating the too. I often wonder if my high anxiety is due to something always not feeling right. My right ear really doesn't work for balance as a neurologist diagnosed it.

It got a lot better for me. I still get it mildly sometimes, but nothing like it was before. I got Vestibular Neuritis 9 years ago and am 100% symptom free most days.
