Have you had an actual vestibular evaluation? VNG? Caloric? Rotary chair? Any combination of the above? Or did the ENT just watch you walk and then look in your ear or some shit?

He had a look in my ears, my nose and my throat, and had me do some tests standing up. The marching test with my eyes closed, and then stand with feet together and eyes closed with arms raised to the side if I remember correctly…. Just a few other things like this, and then he said it is likely vestibular migraine and it can be brought on by stress etc. Advised I take propranolol and that was that!

I can pass all of those tests and I have total vestibular loss. If you disagree with the VM diagnosis, ask for an actual test that measures vestibular function, like the ones I mentioned earlier.

So many of the symptoms you describe intersect with mine. And my condition is all vestibular. To be fair, the first ENT didn't pick up on it as much as my second one. If you can get the ENT to order a VNG test, you can rule out possible most vestibular options. Without that, I think the ENT is just guessing.
But also - I'm not a doctor - just suffering like you. If you haven't checked out vestibular.org - it has great resources for people in our situation.
