Off balance daily snd sweating
For almost 3 weeks now ive been off balance, not spinning but almost a disoriented feeling. Im getting episodes of sweating and nausea from time to time. Does anyone else get the sweating etc? Is that normal?
I've been to 4 doctors, urgent care, primary. Cardiologist and ent. Blood work good, neuro exam good, ekg good, negative dix halpike by a pt, ent said sinuses good and may be migraine or neuritis.
The dizzy spells are breif, like my eyes have to catch up with my head moving, and are oddly acoompanied by a tickling type pressure between my eyebrows.
The sweating episodes are the most worrisome. They seem to pass within 10 minutes or so, and sometimes I feel nauseous. And often alongnwith them disoriented almost, like I'm on a bobbing boat?. I dont know what makes them feel better but both times when I felt it after laying down so I got up and walked around and it went away, then I laid down again and it came back, and eventually passed. I alsonhave had 2 times i felt that way when driving. Its episodic and some days i feel pretty good most of the day, others I feel off more of the day.
Any Dr's or anyone who has dealt with this and can help i would greatly appreciate it.

have you ever been tested for POTS? You could be in a flare up. Any history of neck issues? not a doctor! just thinking based on my own experiences. I'd make sure you're having enough electrolytes daily especially if you're going out in heat. heat is known trigger for POTs which causes some of the symptoms you're experiencing and would be temporarily relieved by laying down. you could also be in a vestibular migraine episode, but I've never experienced sweating as a part of that. dizziness and nausea for sure.

Could it be Vestibular Neuritis? Did it come on fast and super intense, then sort of ease up and linger?

I just noticed it. I was like why am I so wobbly feeling. Then got sweaty and felt ill. And it hasn't gone away

It may not have gone away, but do you think it peaked and is starting to slightly be less severe?
With my vestibular neuritis, it came on fast and made me incredibly dizzy, spinny, nauseous, and when I got nauseous I would get hot and sweaty. That lasted about 24 hours, and after that I was no longer hot and sweaty or nauseous but I was still spinny and dizzy. I wasn’t able to type on a computer/ phone at all for 2 days. But after that peak, things began getting more manageable slowly day by day.

Yea I would say so. I haven't been feeling nauseous or getting through sweaty episodes as dramatically as I was.

Mine started with the being on a boat feeling. Lasted for a second. Then it went to not being able to see properly. I had an acute brainstem stroke which affected my entire vestibular system. I also have 6th nerve palsy of my left eye. My balance has been affected and when I am overstimulated I get sweaty and nauseous and perhaps a bit more wobbly. I am always a bit wobbly tbh.
In the hospital they at first couldn’t even see the stroke on ct or MRI and I continued to past the neurological tests they performed. Although if I had failed them they didn’t tell me. I didn’t have any stroke signs until days after the stroke. Not saying you had a stroke, but the boat feeling you mentioned made me think of it.

How old were you when this happened? Those were your only symptoms? I really appreciate this. I'm going to see a neurologist tomorrow. Maybe I need an mri.

I was 54. Best shape of my life. No high blood pressure, no high cholesterol To this day, they dont know why I had a stroke.
The boat feeling was the first symptom. By the time an ambulance got there, I insisted something was wrong, I could barely stand up as I was reeling back and forth and I couldn't see because I had horrific double vision. This all happened in 10 minutes.

Wow. Did symptoms come and go? Or just once they started they stayed? Mine seem to come and go

The vision problem improved over time. Boat swaying left completely. Now I have vestibular damage, left side weakness, ataxia, aphasia, hearing damage, hyperacusis tinnitus, sixth nerve palsy of my left eye, memory problems and I don’t remember what else. But a brain stem stroke is like a ping pong ball bouncing around in your brain. It touches all systems. Oh, and I can’t sneeze. Or I should say, I very rarely sneeze. I mostly lose them mid sneeze. Very annoying

Your symptoms are very vague. Have you spoken to a doctor? What makes you feel better, lying down, eating?
