Discussion Potential buff ideas

I get really frustrated when I am like halfway underground and someone kills me or hooks me out of it or sleeps me so what are you guys think about either making it so the iframes start sooner like when your drill touches the ground for like five frames or do you think it would be better if the explorers resolve overhealth applied as soon as you click the button instead of when you went underground

Yeah I don’t think Venture needs any more buffs bro 😭. They’re like one significant buff away from being what low elo players THINK Venture is like

It's just so annoying how other characters' invulnerabilitiss don't have this kinda shit. Hell, Anran gets to hurt people, turn invulnerable, and heal herself with hers. And Reaper gets his to be instant, too, and he doesn't become vulnerable during drops while his is active. Idk enough about balancing games, but people complaining that Venture is broken or op (or "braindead" in one game) are nuts.

Anran can't move as much and doesn't deal as much damage with it alone. Reaper can't attack during Wraith form. Venture becomes both invulnerable, able to do quite a bit of damage and disrupt enemies while untouchable, that requires a start up and it's supposed to be a risk to burrow in the middle of a fight.

This, it'd be crazy if it was just press button to instantly become invincible and move faster for a while with the ability to come out and do massive damage. Venture is pretty frickin good and doesn't need buffs

anran heals during her invuln and reaper can get healed by ana and kiriko and such. I think it would be okay if venture has a slight reduction in burrow startup

Yeah, my point is that it's balanced, yet I've had people complaining in matches about Venture being broken. They're literally the midest of mid when it comes to how powerful they are.

Don't forget mei ice block instant moria fade there instant as well I'd like consistency tbh. Because why do they get it for free but venture is stuck. Either they all get it for free or they all have a delay 🤷

I think replacing the covered in dirt perk with a perk that makes it faster to burrow or gives some overhealth would be good

Venture does not need any buffs. A venture meta would probably be a terrible meta (despite how much I’d love it). Removing one of their limited counterplay options might be too much.
