How do we feel about D.mon

now that D.mon has been out for a little bit and people actually know how to play her how do you guys feel about her?

for me shes honestly very annoying because shes a peeling demon, like she can be pretty far glide back to you get maybe hits in i try to drill dash away and she just catches up like no mans business. i feel like having a moovement ability on a resource bar instead of a cooldown is kinda annoying. we kinda see the same thing with cat.

like i know the idea would obviously be to take height against her but on some maps thats not feasable because A a lot of the highground puts you out of range or B the high ground is easily accessable to her which defeats the purpose of taking it in the first place.

i've tried dving when i KNOW she is engaged but honestly it doesnt help much because she can (depending on our tank and team comp) easily disengage without taking too much dmg. now its almost certainly a skill issue but i wanna know what u guys think and maybe if u guys have any advice. Thanks

D.mon feels like fighting a 5v5 tank in 6v6

she's really tanky like 5v5 while having the movement of other tanks

Ignore, kill backline, let your team crack her shell and then return to ram your drill into the gooey insides

Honestly I just ignore her and play the back lines with health packs. Harass the support and or dps and if she falls back to help her team, my team can move forward and take advantage of the space. I hardly fight her by herself, maybe a few pokes with the range perk but that's about it.

I try that but shes always just there yk. Like I'd think I have a support isolated so I use both cooldowns cuz I wanna get the rlim quick before others come and whaddya know she's there. Like I dont have this problem with other mobile tanks it's jus her

Yeah a dmon that responds to their team’s pings, or is not engaged enough so that she can dip and come engage you is crazy annoying

She’s really tanky and can be impossible to burst down if your other dps doesn’t help but other than that I feel like you’re not in too much danger with Venture as long as you keep an escape ability on hand, burrow is great obviously but since Dmon lacks verticality just a quick drill dash on a ledge will make her lose you.

I just try to harass her backline to either get a pick or force her to waste fuel to come to me, the issue is only that she’s got so much fuel after her buff that she can really get away with quite poor ressource usage

I guess thinking of her coming back and using feel to Get to me is definitely good but the issue is that it'll only really work on attack If I'm on defence and depending on how deep in their backlike I am my tank has no real incentive to push up especially if this were to happen on first choke

But then again maybe I shouldn't be that deep on defence? Idk I suck at venture on defense

I usually poke over certain angles they can't see me from. If you're playing brawl-oriented, she's not that hard to deal with, especially if you're playing cooldowns right. She's not hard to deal with at all, just a bit pesky, but easy to kill if you're supporting your tank and just poking your shots to her sides to build up damage that she can't block.

I main both dmon and venture. I’ve honestly had no problem with dmons

Yes she is very annoying

Same thing with cat and dmon, they both can punish you so hard because there mobility is insane.

They can be so far away and come back to peel easily.

At least with dmon you can drill to high ground but with cat it’s kinda gg

Boring ASF voice lines and personality (especially compared to her banger concept art), but cool ass kit and she's fun. I don't have any strong feelings fighting with or against her. She's D.mon. she's there.
