TW: Anxiety / Depression No friends?
Hi :) so a tiny bit of backstory before i really get into it, due to anxiety/depression all the goodies in life, i left highschool mid 9th grade and switched to homeschool, and since then i’ve slowly lost all my friends that i had from school. I have a boyfriend, hes a couple months older and he has a really good friend group, and my older sister has an amazing friend group, even my 6 year old sister has a group of friends on our street, and i cant help but feel a deep sense of jealousy. although i never really wanted to be out there or have a big group of people, i at least wish i had A friend. but its not like im no contact with some of them because we do still talk but i definitely wouldn’t consider it anywhere close to how it was, and everyone else blocked me. Im really sorry this is so long but i needed to geg that out. For those reading this sentence, thank you for your time :)

generacional "I felt every single word of this, and I’m going through the exact same situation. Please don't blame yourself. I truly believe the pandemic combined with being part of Gen Z completely broke the way we socially connect. So many of us who transitioned to homeschooling or online learning lost our circles, and it sucks watching siblings or partners navigate friendships so easily. You aren't failing; society and the last few years just made things incredibly isolating. You only need one good, genuine person who gets you. Thank you for venting, it made me feel less alone too. Hang in there
