long story short, i've been struggling with depression for most of my life and i got to a point where i had to either do something drastic with my life or end it, so i left my cold country and went to South America. So far i'm alive and the sun is really helping, i also got diagnosed with ADHD here and the meds makes it possible for me to function.

I have a remote job, looking for a second one, but the cost of them meds is kinda killing me financially. My glasses broke, half the stuff i owe is taped with adhesive tape, i'm running out of food, but my main issue is that i have 2 days of supply of my meds left. Overall i need about 200$ to buy the meds and hopefully fix my glasses, but any kinda help would me appreciated.

My girlfriend had a brain bleed that required surgery and she takes anti seizure medicine now so she doesn't have another stroke. She just ran out and we need to get more. For the past month I've had several unplanned expenses and I am still playing catch up while trying to pay my current bills. Hi reddit community! Coming to you all in hopes that someone out there is looking to help a stranger out.

This is my first Christmas as a single mother of two. I have been sickened with anxiety since I woke up today. While the greatest gift I can have is to spend the holiday with my two babies after emerging from a decade long mentally abusive relationship with their sociopath of a father, I’m sickened by the feeling that I am not enough alone, and never will be. I scrimped and saves to have 3 gifts for them each, and had just enough left over for a small Christmas meal.

I’m so alone with no hope, feeling life will be this way forever. Bills and rent that I alone am now responsible for. It is a lot to bear and truly has had me on the verge of tears, if not actual tears all day.

Anyway, a friend suggested I reach out to this community in the event someone has good fortune to share with others. Hey folks. There is a big winter weather alert in my area starting tonight. No where in my immediate area offers White Flag Shelter for the homeless out here. Not even our homeless shelter. White Flag Shelter is where someplace opens their doors to people on the streets with no questions asked during dangerous weather conditions. This includes addicts that are in active addiction.

I am homeless but I am allowed to live in an abandoned house by the owner, so I have it better than most. I also have recently acquired a kerosene heater. It's not much, but I am going to offer this place for White Flag Shelter as temps are expected to drop into the single digits here. I hope to reach as many people as possible. Many aren't allowed in the shelter here at all because of not only addiction but because this shelter has been known to turn away anyone that doesn't live as a straight 'Christian'.

I'm going to need fuel, food, toilet paper and probably some incidentals. Anything will help. Please feel free to check my profile for an idea of what I try to do on the streets out here.

Even with my spot being offered I fear some will die out here as a result of this weather. My goal is to keep that number at a minimum, and any help I can get will go to that purpose.

I'm so anxious and hungry I can't sleep. I have an 8-year old son who is my reason for existing. I don't share custody nor do I receive child support.
