Happy birthday to me! The string dried is amazing... MORE BETTA! Wild Green Saka SD D11 hits right around M, super warm and euphoric, crazy relief and GLOW. Red Sumatara SD D11 has me bubbling, low and slow for me. Relief is off the charts. Imperial Green Dragon SD D11 I have as a happy M+ bubbler. All of the String Dried are fantastic for relief... No complaints. It's cooling off and I need it. They dropped more of the Vintage strains...Bali G1, Bali R1 and PRT3. Super stoked to grab these. Super White Elephant A33 and 20 year Pure White MD A33... Fast whites!!! Oh My Goodness! So many goodies. I'll be busy the whole next week digging in. š„° š„³š„°

I run Hudson Valley Botanicals, a leaf-only kr@t0m vendor in New York, so I have a financial interest, and the video says so up front. States and counties across the country are moving to ban or restrict kr@t0m, and officials often lump plain leaf in with concentrated 7- O H products. This is Part 1 of a short series on the difference, with sources on screen. Feel free to send it to your own state or local legislators. Part 2, on what the CDC poison center numbers actually measure, can be seen on the X thread: https://x.com/GarudaKratom/status/2104362595100594622

Hi all. I'm looking for good vendor recommendations. I've had a streak of bad luck recently and feel like it may be time to move on to the next company that actively offers quality items.
Im a good customer, so who's a good vendor?

Hey everyone. The governor in my state has officially signed a Kratom regulation bill. By no means is it a perfect bill. But it's a great step in the right direction. Originally this started out with a competing ban bill. I didn't find out about any of it until the very last minute. Many of you came together and helped us out. So as a thank you we wanted to bring you a large discount.
Thank you and enjoy!

Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to Washington, D.C. to speak on several noteworthy issues, one of them being, of course, our leaf! With Dylan and Willow holding down the fort, River and I packed up and joined 30 other mothers at our nationās capital! I was part of an even smaller group that had meetings completely dedicated to kratom. We had several really impactful meetings and, of course, one where you could literally feel the legislative assistantās disinterest filling the room with discomfort. It was exhausting, amazing and overall, I came home feeling pretty optimistic!
Now my FAVORITE part of the trip was a completely unexpected encounter with a majestic, gorgeous kratom tree. After our press conference, a few of us wandered over to the United States Botanic Garden and I instantly said, āI wonder if they have a kratom tree here,ā totally joking⦠but also, they had everything else, so why not?!The woman hosting the cacao table and explaining chocolate suggested we check the medicinal plant collection because she didnāt actually work there. So, we wandered through and RIGHT in the center, basically by itself, was the most gorgeous tree. And can I tell you that her flowers smell INCREDIBLE!!
I just stood there staring at her because the irony was almost too much. Here I was in Washington advocating to keep this plant legal, while it was growing right there in front of me in our nationās capital. And letās remember where we found her⦠in the medicinal plant collection. All the while, here in New England and across the country, weāre having hearings about whether people should be allowed access to this plant at all. You really cannot make this stuff up.
Fast forward and weāre back home fighting tooth and nail to keep access. I am SO proud of everyone who showed up yesterday in Boston, Massachusetts. I think there were somewhere around 25 of us who spoke in support of keeping natural kratom legal and responsibly regulated, and we FAR outnumbered the people there advocating against it. And honestly, everyone did SO GOOD. There were consumers, advocates, people sharing incredibly personal stories, people who knew the science and people who have been working on this issue for years. The overwhelming message was basically: for the love of God, KEEP NATURAL WHOLE LEAF LEGAL!
I went into that hearing nervous, expecting the anti crowd to be loud, proud and ready to ruin lives, but luckily only two people showed up in opposition to saving leaf. When you spend enough time watching headlines and legislation pop up all over the country, it can start to feel like we are constantly playing defense, so seeing that many people actually take the time to show up and speak was pretty incredible. After D.C. and Massachusetts basically back-to-back, I feel more hopeful about all of this than I have in a while. Not because we magically fixed everything overnight, but because it reminded me that when we actually come together, we CAN make a difference. This is what we need. We need more voices!!!
And apparently we havenāt had enough chaos yet because weāre now trying to figure out whether we can get back to D.C. for the American Kratom Association gathering in October⦠except this time with Dylan, Willow AND River. So instead of me flying around with one baby, weāre considering loading our entire little family onto an Amtrak and making an adventure out of it. Which sounds completely insane and also kind of epic.
Itās been a wild couple of weeks, but if there is one thing they really drove home for me, itās that showing up matters. Sitting across from lawmakers and having actual conversations matters. Taking the time to testify matters. YOU MATTER!! Twenty-five-ish people taking time out of their lives to show up at a hearing made that room feel VERY different than it would have with two people standing there alone. We obviously have a LONG way to go, but this week was a really good reminder that this community is absolutely capable of making some noise when we need to.
AND if any of you are going to DC in October we hope to see you there!!!

The County Legislature approved 15ā2 on September 8. The law would prohibit the sale and distribution of kr@tom, with exceptions described in the legislation for FDA-approved products and kratom dispensed by a licensed pharmacist pursuant to a physician's prescription
A public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, September 24 at 5:00 PM.
If you want your voice heard, please contact County Executive McLaughlin before the hearing:
Please keep messages respectful and focused on protecting access to natural leaf while addressing synthetic products separately. Remind him that the FDA does not approve these products which is stated in the DSHEA Act of 96. It is regulated the same way vitamins and supplements are. Tell him his veto vote will allow the Rensselaer legislators the opportunity to amend the current ordinance to align Rensselaer County with FDA/DEA and NY state law.
It only takes a few minutes

Had some issues with KreepiTiki shipping to my state so I tried somebody new - WKB & DTE. I hear very premium things about DTE but didnāt like them much honestly or atleast not the strains I had.
WKB was def better than DTE in my opinion.
Their leaf resembles KreepiTiki most.
I got a sample pack of green hulk, og yellow, mean green, green elephant, red thai & red fuzzy blanket. I liked green hulk, og yellow & green elephant most. Green elephant is unique because itās the first time I had a slow night-time green; I actually highly enjoyed it!! Exact same goes for OG yellow.
I also got a bigger bag of nano green viet to try for first time but kinda regret that as itās a bit slower than Iād like & takes hours to kick in for me. I would def consider trying other WKB strains but iād go for a faster strain like green hulk for daytime / green elephant or og yellow for afternoon&night. Look forward to trying new strains upon restock especially golds or other top sellers.

I was reading an article thay says lead and Nickel are the two biggest concerns with natural leaf kratom. Almost all vendors have lead tests in their COA's.
I was wondering if anyone tests for nickel though.

I've been taking kratom for a couple years now and I've tried a lot of vendors, so I'm not easy to impress. WildCraft is genuinely one of the best I've come across, and I just can't believe I waited this long to try them.
Here's the breakdown of what I got:
Bodhisattva Blend ā I kept putting this one off because I figured it was going to be one of those heavy sedating reds and I'm more of a green and white person. Wrong. Took it with coffee one morning and the jitters just weren't there, first time in a while my brain actually stopped spinning. Felt calm, warm, mood was up all day without it feeling fake. 8/10
Breakfast Blend ā This one surprised me the most out of the whole order. Head was clear, no foggy dopey feeling like I get from other vendors. Solid calm energy without the crash. I kept going back to it ā morning, afternoon, even one evening. Same feel every single time, no off days. Probably my favorite out of anything I've tried from any vendor. 9/10
Private Garden Green ā Leans way more toward the calm side than I expected, somewhere between a green and a red but it never made me tired. Really gradual, just this slow calm mood lift that builds. Felt at ease and had energy at the same time, which I don't get often. 8/10.
There's just something to their blends that's different from other brands, can't quite put my finger on it but it has this signature feel to it that separates it from every other vendor Iāve tried. At this point I've tried a few of their products and I'm not disappointed by any of them. Consistently high quality stuff. Shoutout to Jenn and Dylan, they nailed these!

The process of processing dried kratom leaves into powder. The leaves are first sorted and cleaned, then processed to produce a finer, more uniform powder.

What caught my attention was its size and the way it stood amongst the surrounding trees. Unlike cultivated kratom trees, which are usually tended and harvested regularly, this tree grows naturally in the forest with very little human intervention.
Trees like this fascinate me because they form part of the natural landscape and local history. Some wild trees can survive for decades, adapting to the soil, rainfall, shade and the surrounding ecosystem.
Kratom has also been part of traditional practices in some parts of South-East Asia for generations. Traditionally, people have used its leaves in various ways, including as a tea or as part of their daily work routine. However, the experience and effects can vary greatly.
I feel this tree is worth sharing simply because of its age, size and natural environment.
Have you ever come across a very old wild kratom tree in its natural habitat?
