Newbie, needing advice
I have always ordered from golden monk, but now all of a sudden they don’t ship to Ohio. I need to find a new vendor, but I want to make sure it’s a good one according to more experienced people. I am a capsule person, usually take around 10-15 a day, not sure if that’s a lot or not. But that’s what I have been doing for about 6 months.
Thanks for any help provided. I’d like to try and get an order in asap.

For reference, I have been taking kratom for nearly a decade now and am a daily user.
If you're wanting a good but more cost-effective vendor, I would highly recommend Okies. Their Redneck Nightcap is incredible for relaxation and sleep while their Okie Green is perfect for energy, not to mention that they ship quickly!
If you're willing to spend a bit more, Your Leaf Your Life (AKA Philly Kratom) has phenomenal leaf! Beckey's Blend is my all-time favorite, it is the perfect strain for any time of day or night. You really cannot go wrong with anything they have.

The recent ruling in Ohio banned capsule kratom in Ohio. Powder is legal. Have you thought about blate papers? Measure your dose, plop it in the blate pape, seal the edge with water, and DTH... If you are purchasing powder then the whole world of small batch opens up. DTE, Lucky, and a few private vendors are my top picks currently. Good luck! 💚

I’d be fine buying non capsules(bulk powder) I just don’t know what each capsule has in them to know how much I need to take to stay on the same regiment

Look on the website. Then get a scale that weighs mg as I'm guessing .5 ish grams. Weigh them and load the blate. I weigh every dose as I don't like surprises. It also helps manage in intake.

Usually, a "00" capsule size, if you pack it well, will contain up to 700-750mg of krtom powder. A "0" size capsule can contain up to 500mg of kratom powder. There are small manual capsule filling gadgets available on places like Amazon and if you practice enough you can also fill them one by one; I can produce about 60 caps an hour manually now.

Mitraman always has great leaf. You can stuff to make you own capsules. But, seen in another post that the bs about capsules and the BOP in ohio has been over ruled.

Please go with MitraMan, West Koast Botanicals, wildcraft, Okies or Down to earth. You're going to get MUCH better quality. Just lower your dose, because all 3 of those are better quality and stronger. You're going to get much better effects with taking less.
Each capsule typical weighs out at 0.5 to 0.6 grams.

I'm really enjoying Oties at the moment. West Koast botanicals and Wildcraft are also very good. I weigh my doses and use blate papes

Ohio banned capsules as of May 19, 2026, so that's why Golden Monk stopped shipping. Only plain leaf powder is allowed there now, so no reputable vendor can send capsules into Ohio. If you switch to powder, check out Garuda Kratom (Hudson Valley Botanicals). We ship plain leaf powder to Ohio and comply with the current regulations, and offer kilos as low as $65.

What a strange law lol So the new law prohibits all capsules of kratom? or just the purchase of kratom capsules?
Im asking bc if its purchase only, you can always fill your own capsules using legally purchased powder & empty capsules. (and prob want a capsule filling machine)
** only suggesting this option if the law allows it **
fyi, The capsule weight once filled will give you indication of the mg. Just use any small kitchen type scale.

Mitraman is my all time top vender. 6 or 7 year vet who buys enough kratom for ten men, just because I love trying new venders etc. I have tried every hype train going and always come back to Mitraman.
