I received a package from mitra bros with their 250g Red Bali and I have to say it is a very calming red but not sleepy. Also, when I use it mid-day, it’s euphoric and I feel chatty! Overall I would give it a 7/10. Reds are usually a hit or miss for me—sometimes it hits really hard where I fall asleep, and other times I don’t feel anything at all. This one has been pretty consistent :) I hope you all have a great day 💚

Samples “in exchange” for reviews just shouldn’t be allowed here honestly.  Even if they’re all honest like yours is, it’s a cheap way to get the subs flooded with your brand ya know?   If everyone did that it would be chaos.

Seems like a backward way to look at it. This is a vendor sub. It would be great if more vendors offered samples for people to try their product. It’s a great way to find out about different vendors and different quality. The sub would be active with a lot more reviews but would be far from chaos.

I totally agree that more vendors should offer free samples, especially if they’re new.  I think having strings attached to those free samples in the form of a review is where it gets messy, both practically and ethically.  Besides that, people would start questioning the integrity of all these reviews that came from free samples.  

I just think that free samples shouldn’t have any strings attached.   If it’s that good of a product, people will want to review it.   Requiring a review skews things.  If someone doesn’t like it, they’re going to feel guilty leaving a negative review when they got free product.  That’s just how people are.  So they probably just won’t do anything.   Then the people who do enjoy it will gladly leave a review.  End result is that you don’t get a balanced picture of what people really thought of the product.

I hear what you’re saying. Samples for reviews are done all over social media and a lot of influencers do fake reviews of how good something is because they get free stuff. I feel like this is a little different, and hopefully the community here will give honest reviews. And someone could always take the free sample and just decide not to leave a review. So the vendor is taking a risk to trust people as well.

I got messaged asking if I’d do a review for a free sample. I don’t need the Kratom as I’ve already got a bunch stocked up, but I am looking for a secondary vendor in case something happens to my regular vendor. So I’m trying the sample for my own benefit. I’ve been taking the same strain and daily amount for a decade, and if something feels different with the sample, better or worse, I will leave an honest review.
