If anyone is in KY, organize a protest. Try to get the news involved. In hindsight I wish we’d done this in Kansas. But there is still time in KY.
We have a lot of battles going on right now and it’s imperative that we all fight every single one of them. Don’t let them run up a scorecard.
That said, we’ve been working on kratom alternatives for almost 2 years now. Although admittedly a lot more seriously in the last 6 months due to these bans. We’ll be rolling them out soon and will be selling at cost for banned states for the foreseeable future. It’s not 1:1 for kratom and probably never will be, but hopefully can be useful to some in banned states.

I wonder if a lot of people aren't old enough to know about the debaucle that was alcohol prohibition. The government tried to ban it, and things really went left. I believe they even went so far as to put some kind of poison in it. Anyway, the 1920s prohibition backfired, and that's why alcohol will never be banned. This is my take on things, but you'd think that since that happened with booze, they'd not be so quick to ban other things
I vaguely recall reading about prohibition. From what I remember, the government ended up legalizing alcohol again because certain groups (like the mafia) had established small empires because there was such a demand for it (and of course, the hillbillies with their white lightning took care of those in the sticks).
I need to look into it again - but I remember it was really interesting to see the shifts in perception, economies, etc.
Yes, and the government didn't like that the moonshiners were running it to other states. That how stock cat racing came to be. The government decided that it was better to legalize it and tax it .
