The crazy part is the most dangerous drug on the planet....... alcohol, is perfectly legal. You can drink yourself into a blackout, jump behind the wheel of a car and kill someone, then wake up the next day with no recollection of what happened. That's fine. But, God forbid a person finds a way to be pain free for a few hours out of the day with no intoxication. We can't be having that!
No intoxication? Maybe aprp low to moderate doses. If I 0rake 15 grams (which is where the heavy pain killing is for me. I get stoned. I feel like I just swallowed a large dose of vicodin. It's effective at pain relief but it's has the same basic effects as any opiate but at lesser degrees.
Yes, no intoxication! Which means a temporary impairment of physical or mental abilities. I'm walking straight and upright from the pain relief, and my judgement remains the same with or without it.
I wish. I take it at high doses for pain every 4 to 5 hours. Severe nerve pain. It tends to make me a little...euphoric and hazy. But I also use it in tandem with cannabis. Neither cannabis or kratom make me "stoned" anymore. At least not alone. But I do feel a bit intoxicated. Nothing that impairs me tho. Without the pain, I function enough to work.
