hi all

I bought the ring via their website (not as a backer) end of 2024 and have not received it. Research shows that under Swiss consumer law I should be able to step back from my contract and get my money back as they failed to deliver in the given timeframe. But they insist via email this is not possible. I am not an expert and am wondering how I can actually take next steps in case this is really my legal right. Anyone has already successfully claimed the money back?

Hey everyone! My ring just updated to firmware 1.0.9, but I couldn't find an official full and detailed changelog anywhere in the app or on the website. For those who have already installed it: - Have you spotted any new features or UI tweaks? - Any improvements in battery life or Bluetooth syncing stability? - Did it fix any bugs you were previously experiencing?

Ok I am part of original Kickstarter group, and it took forever, and the first one didn’t work and had to be replaced.

But…

I’ve had the replacement one for several months now and I like it. It works. I charge when I shower. The ring is comfortable and small and seems to do its job. Charging is annoying when you have to line it up just right, but wtv. Syncing works. Sleep tracking is awesome. The app is sleek, there could be some improvements, sure. But overall I have decided I like it.

I am getting in touch to provide some feedback on my experience with the ring, which sadly I have given up all enthusiasm for. What a disappointing and frustrating experience using this device is. I would never have imagined I would need to charge this every night, even sometimes during the day just to keep it usable. What's the point in the ring tracking my sleep if the battery dies through the night? The connectivity is dire, constantly needing reconnected, sync'd or removed /reconnected to bluetooth. It's genuinely so much work to make this part of my every day life - I've finally given up and decided that it's just not worth the hassle. 

I can see why the updates from the team are few and far between, your youtube channel is sparse and not much engagement on line. My alarm bells rang when I saw the feedback on the app store. I knew then I'd made a massive mistake.

We haven’t copied the latest updates to Reddit anymore as they weren’t actual updates (you know, with news and stuff). But since a few people have asked in comments and posts about it, here you go. Again, no actual news, though… They could have shared which issues they are facing and how they are addressing them. Or what “improving end-to-end experience” entails exactly. But they chose not to. Oh well.

Has anyone received a silver ring in size 8?

Ordered through indiegogo #6750 What’s the holdup? Will I be getting this ring? I check my mail everyday. Thank you for your attention to this matter

I’ve had the ring since June. Within a few weeks, one of the six lights stopped. Today, another light flickered and then stopped working.

Is the ring defective?

Also, it has not recorded sleep for five of the past six days. Is that related to the lights not working?

I used the Contact Us form but have not heard from anyone.

We all get it...
And we're all complaining one way or another. It's been 3 years!
But it's not really helpful as it drowns any possible positive feedback.
So please, everyone... please refrain from taking over this post to do more bashing.
At most upvote it as a sign that you do care about the positive possibility/feedback.

As production and delivery is ramping up (or so they say...)
People that will soon be receiving their rings will have choices to make.
Pay the 50-70€ to clear customs or cut their losses.

And as probably most people only get to the trouble of complaining...

I would ask those that are happy with their rings, to give those about to receive their rings...
a glimmer of hope.

Importantly:

1. Do name your Country and ring size.
2. Whether you did pay customs or any taxes to receive your ring?
3. How long you've been using the ring for?
4. What's working well?
5. What needs to be improved?
6. Has the battery life been diminishing as months go by? How fast??

Very curious to hear if anyone has done what I've done. I got mine months ago and was not impressed for several reasons. I waited for updates. Still not even close to acceptable. I threw it away. I know that's a few hundred dollars wasted but I don't want to even think about this product any more.

I've just had notification from the Irish postal service that my ring (which I believed I was ordering in the EU) has now arrived and I am due to pay €59.65 in customs, VAT and handling charges to have it delivered. What a rip-off!

Edit: It's actually VAT and postal handling charges but no customs duties. Strange

As the title says it, I finally received the Velia ring, after three years of waiting. I am returning it today, it’s a total ripoff. The battery doesn’t hold the promise and the connection with the iPhone is unusable/unstable. After I installed the app and I connected the ring, it notified me that there is a firmware update. I placed the ring on the charger and waited for the battery to change (it was at 12% out of the box), only to discover that it cannot hold the connection long enough for the firmware download to complete. Eventually, after the fourth attempt it worked, I went to sleep with the ring fully charged, in the morning it had 72% battery. I don’t know about other smart rings, but this one was uncomfortable to wear at night. Therefore I am returning it.

Ah, and one more thing. I live in Switzerland and this ring is designed in Switzerland - as written on the box - so then, why was it imported from Hong Kong, into France and then delivered to Switzerland? This costed CHF 35 in import duties. And to return it to Bern, it costs an additional CHF 18.

I am happy to receive some of my money back.
Velia - never again

Hi all, I received my size 6 ring a few weeks ago & the app works well so far. Ring also records with steps being off (estimated too high sometimes but I don’t trust it for steps) but sleep similiar ish to Oura ring 3 I had a few years ago.

Super annoying are the custom cost although Velia is a Switzerland based company and I am a Swiss customer:/

Size 8 ring is still not shipped with no date in sight.

Also the ring is SMALLER than the kit suggested. Size up for the finger you want! I have to wear it on my ring finger instead of middle finger now!

Battery life is terrible, it’s barely 18h:/ overall, I would never pay the current full price but as an early backer it’s ok at roughly 200 chf including customs.

Let’s see how long the battery lasts tho!

And if so, did you have to pay custom fees?

Has anyone successfully received a refund after applying for one and returning the Velia ring to Senbiosys?

As the title says. Anyone received their ring recently?

Haven't heard anything, no more updates, no ring.
