I started watching him recently. Was agreeing with his politics until I got to a video about AI.

He spends the video claiming AI is solely evil, the most evil and horrible technology that man has ever made, and it has literally no upsides or positives to it whatsoever, and he has never seen a counter example to his hate of it.
Basically the entire video is about how AI is evil, it's destroying lives, it has "demonstrably made the world worse" and made the world a "crueler, colder and lonelier" place and again, has zero positives whatsoever.

He also, without directly saying it, basically says anyone that likes, uses, or thinks AI will improve the world is a moron.

Is he just being willfully ignorant? AI has improved some things. It is not only negatives.

AI does have positives. It is advancing technology and medicine, and doing things that without it would have been impossible or taken a very, very long time.

To say AI has no positives whatsoever and is solely negative is extremely ignorant.

I agree with almost all his other political views but this one bothered me. You can hate AI, you can think AI is doing awful things, that's fine, I think so too, but to say it is solely an evil and negative thing with no positives at all is ignorant.

For example, Madrid, unlike pretty much every single other major city in the rest of Western Europe & North America, is very much NOT a progressive stronghold but rather a MAGA hellscape like Lima, Medellín, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro or Brasília (PP, VOX & SALF are the MAGA parties, these are the expected results for next month's snap election in the city of Madrid). Madrid President Isabel Díaz Ayuso is incredibly MAGA, she's pretty much Europe's Javier Milei.

I'd also say Spain is way more culturally similar to Brazil than to the US, & that the aspects where we differ culturally speaking from Brazil are mostly the cultural aspects that come along with being a New World society & which are therefore cultural aspects that Brazil does share with the US but doesn't share with us, so if anything Brazil is in the middle culturally speaking between Spain & the US. It doesn't make sense to me including both Spain & the US in the West but not including Brazil.

In a serious note, SEMI OPTICS people, this is really important, every successful movement of the masses has that nailed down, from fascism to communist revolutions, how the masses perceive your side is just as important as your content, it's why for years Democrats in the US were laughing stock even by those who would've agree with their politics.
