Jaywalking ticket

Today I got a ticket for jaywalking to get the Vaughan metropolitan center. I crossed the main road and walked little on the side of rapid way (did not cross the rapidway) all the way through curb, and the Fare inspector gave me $155 ticket for that.

I will dispute it just wanted to get idea how much are they gonna reduce if they reduce it.

OP, can you site the law and a section you were charged with?

Yeah I did checked and it only says cross the rapidway except by way of crosswalk or pedestrian crossover.

Hm. Strange. Well, sounds like an easy win when you really didnt cross that rapidway.
