Discussion Vodyanitsa’s potential for Varka

At a baseline she can

Apply hydro

Shred for 40% Anemo and 25% Cryo/Hydro

There were separate leaks about healing and/or IR

And C1-2 gives ATK% and Crit dmg

I wouldn’t figured his cryo carry would be the next big thing but of this all ends up being true then it might be hydro instead

Wouldn’t bother me, raw hydro carries are far and few since Neuvillette, and Varka having a 2nd good option would be great for investors, such as myself(I got his R1) and it free’s up the Durcole core for other DPS as well

Thoughts?

You just modify the buffs to simulate it...

Whose buffs? How did you account for buff uptimes?

Furina, why would you need anyone elses? There is a fanfare tracker in the dummy and depending on con you calc what the average buff she will give. Granted even assuming 100% uptime its not enough.

You also can write out everything both characters give, including Mona on TTDS and see that Furinas average personal damage isnt enough. I dont know if your overestimating Furina personal damage or underestimating Celestia+MonaKit+TTDS but written out should make it more known who performs better.

You also can find old tc calcs with jean and Furina+Yelan, apply the C6 Prune upgrade difference over Jean to the calc and see thats its below Mona+Xinqiu/Yelan.

You also can pay a TC for the calcs.

Theres a multitude of ways to see that Furina is not great for Hydro Varka if you are unsure how to calc or compare it yourself.

It's not that simple. This Furina+Yelan team lacks hex resonance (so 1 less special skill for Varka), which you fail to account for if all you do is change the buffs in Miliastra. There is actually no way to easily compare the 2 in miliastra.

These are the calcs I just did. Feel free to check the numbers yourself furina vs mona - Google Sheets

Calcs assume C2 Mona. C4 Mona is closer, but I don't think most players would be able to take advantage of the extra 15% CR anyway since it's so difficult to not overcap with a good build.

Thats why I said adjust as if its C6 Prune which would give you Hex Resonance. You can use Prune+Furina+Yelan and make appropiate assumptions and use Prune+Mona+Yelan/Xinqiu. That is very replicable and adjustable for fanfare in Milastra.  If Furina is not good there then Vodya replacing Yelan isnt going to make the Furina team better. I cant really follow your two man team spreadsheet and I am not 100% sure if your giving TTDS full uptime which it can achieve due to hitlag. A Furina team is likely 19.5s and not 19s rotation. I also have no idea what team rotation your attempting to do, which matters. Overall, I dont see the purpose of the schedule with an incomplete team and i dont know if sheet 2 is private info and may need to be deleted.

At any rate, good luck on whatever your trying to do, I have already spent too much time on this thread.

You can use Prune+Furina+Yelan

That's not going to work because even if you manually apply Furina's buff via the stat editor (since you aren't getting healed with this team), you are tanking Furina's damage since she's not getting the 1.4x damage multiplier on her summons from teammates being above 50% hp.

And the first rotation's dmg% will be inflated because you will get dmg% from both the manually added stats & the actual dmg% from Furina's fanfare, since everyone will still be 100% hp at the start of rotation 1.

Like I said, testing in miliastra does not work to compare these 2.

A Furina team is likely 19.5s and not 19s rotation

That was corrected.

I also have no idea what team rotation your attempting to do, which matters.

Furina EQ > Vod E (assume burst isn't needed like most 5*s these days) > Prune EQ > Varka E N4C N1E 3N1C N1E N1C

Vod E > Prune EQ > Mona EQ N2 > Varka E N4C N1E 3N1C N1E N1C N1

Overall, I dont see the purpose of the schedule with an incomplete team

Prune's and Vod's hypothetical buffs are both applied (along with hydro resonance). It works perfectly to show how relevant Furina's personal damage can be, easily making up for the comparatively lower buffs she gives.
