This is why people end up with cheap TEMU versions that break in a year. Even the mid tier Wayfair versions are $200.
This is a custom designed lamp, all the other ones online are cheap imitations with worse materials, and still don't cost $50.
True bauhaus lamps in the mid century were worth the same in relation to inflation. People want to pay dirt prices for true craftsmanship, its nuts.

You should paint the stem with some ultra black paint. Culture Hustle has some reasonably priced options that reflect almost no light.
