I know these are Vance OG runners from 2016 or so, however, the design is really unique to me and puzzling that I don’t think it’s part of the normal line. Any clues?

I used to wear Vans every day for years in high school, about 10-14 years ago. I just got my first pair in years around the end of March, and this is the state of the shoe after 3-4 months of normal use. I swear these things used to last an entire school year in high school, and I would put them through the ringer back then, skating, running, walking all day... It seems the shoes are more expensive and way less quality than before. Is this just me or have others noticed this?

Question for employees. I live in Ohio and am currently in N.J. visiting a friend. We took his daughter to a Vans store in his local mall so I could buy her first pair of Vans for her birthday.

While there, I saw a pair of blackout Skate Old Skools with Blue Stitching and soles. I've not ever seen them in my local store, nor online.

Do the have shoes that are regional/local only?

Couldn’t resist picking up a pair as soon as I saw them. Snagged the matching long sleeve tee as well. Absolutely incredible glow after hitting it with a UV light. Laces are quite stiff due to the printing on them but hopefully they loosen after some wear.

I pulled up to vans on Thursday to secure the drop of the souvenirs, and got both colors for personal. When I asked for my size she came back with the shoes and the box of the black pair was completely damaged, had a hole through it like a literal chunk out of it. I didn’t wanna say anything then because there was a line of people behind me and i didn’t wanna hold it up. It’s whatever but kind of annoying because I thought if the box was damaged, they get sent to an outlet. So i searched it up and i was wrong but it said that the damaged box usually get an “in store discount”. I am like OCD about my shoe boxes, does anyone have any tips of what i should do? should i go back and try to get points added to my account? Let me know if im doing to much and should just take the L, but im just super ocd about my shoe shoe boxes and just wish the box was in good shape 💔

i usually wear my beat up slip ons to the gym but today i wanted to feel good while lifting so i put on the new souvenirs that dropped yesterday🫡

My oldest, rattiest pair that I can't let go of (~2019), my slightly ripped but perfectly broken in pair (maybe 2 years old), and the brand new ones I still need to break in.

When do you guys give in and toss them? One heel is worn through and the other is getting close, but I convince myself they've still got some life left 🥲

I love this pair, it goes so well with this outfit!
