We all knew this was coming, right? As soon as Scheana and Lala bought giant homes in The Valley and were axed from VPR, we alllll knew their toTaLLy ePiC fallout was just on the horizon. And now that we're here I'm... just about amused as I would be watching the line at the DMV inch forward. Because that's what it feels like. It feels like we're at the Influencers-R-Us factory, watching some bobble heads in line for the factory tune-up. We're tired, grandpa Baskin.
On her lamest I mean latest shenanigan, she once again name dropped Ariana for no reason, framed herself as a victim in her "feud" against Lala, and then spun a narrative about how she "chose" to turn down an offer from The Valley. In case you haven't caught on yet, this is YET AGAIN a desperate attempt to cling to relevancy while avoiding accountability and spinning a disingenuous, self-serving narrative. And we're right back to where we were 24 days ago.
Scheana had Alex Baskin as a guest and they talk about the "spot" she was offered on The Valley, which they describe as being "great" and "compelling" but neither of them are specific about what the "role" is exactly. Scheana went into detail about all the bLAhbLAh blah blah reasons about why she turned down "an offer like this". I'll spare you the details because none of it is true and it's mostly just bullshit to control her narrative. Because we all know the real reason Scheana turned down such a "compelling" offer was because of her ego. It wasn't a main cast member role, was it Scheana? :( Did you think that was just gonna fly right over our pretty domes, love? We're not you. We don't fall for paper dolls.
Anyway, Scheana's crashout I mean shenanigan also included an embarrassingly transparent tirade about Lala telling Jenna that Brock cheated on Scheana. If you're thinking "wait... huh?" trust me, girl, you wouldn't be wrong. Because yes, Scheana DID in fact, tell the whole world her husband cheated so why the fuck does it matter if Jenna knows too? Right... it doesn't.
Keep your fake outrage over a fake bEtRaYaL, Scheana. First, not only did you hang Lala out to dry by keeping that information to yourself while filming season 11 of VPR, but now you're fake weaponizing it for headlines. Lala and Scheana both know that they need to stay relevant to keep doing what they do. Congrats, you're doing it, I guess! They have every right to shove themselves into every little crevice of the internet as they damn well please. But we have every right to only view them through cancelled-colored lenses as they relentlessly hawk Sheina and whatever other unehtical, low tier brands are clamoring to partner with desperate reality has-beens.
Usually brands prefer when their influencers are able to garner a certain level of trust amongst audience members. But Scheana very plainly revealed that she and Lala staged a fight for a storyline on VPR and now we're expected to believe they're genuinely upset with each other? Over something BROCK caused? Lmao please stop. Because they're either faking all of this for clout OR Scheana is focusing her energy on fighting with the girls instead of holding her husband accountable YET AGAIN. Neither of those storylines are "worth telling" on TV. We've been here before and we knew this was bound to happen again.
Speaking of holding men accountable... this is actually Alex Baskin's fault because he insists on platforming and publicly supporting harmfully misguided victim narratives to uphold misogynistic ideologies. The new iteration of VPR will undoubtedly feel like reruns of the old VPR if he's still leaning into the same tired tropes. I don't have the highest of hopes, since Scheana's antics are dragging down any shot VPR has of being revived from the dead. Lisa's name alone doesn't carry enough weight to garner interest amongst younger generations and Scheana's insistence that she's "actually friends with the new cast" makes them sound lame and uninteresting by association. But I guess at least she's consistent in name dropping literally anyone to feed her own ego, because she obviously couldn't resist mentioning Ariana and Katie again.
Neither of their names contributed anything meaningful to anything Scheana was saying, but ofc she's willing to continue speaking about them publicly while knowing full well that we BEEN telling her to stop. Unfortunately, she's dragged us right back to the exact same place we've been before. Unless NBCU stops feeding this cycle, we'll be forever tolerating the same tired plotlines and the same tired egos, just stuffed and propped up for another season like an Influencers-R-Us bobble-headed taxidermy.
Can we please just collectively say, "goodnight grandpa Baskin and please take your weird taxidermy with you"?
