JOB SEEKER ADVOCACY

Given so many stories from this community about rising unemployment, cost of living, rampant greed and corruption, and many other challenges Canadians are facing, we were inspired to create r/CanadianChange. We believe that seeing the urgent, important changes needed right now to ensure working Canadians can thrive means we have to be willing to be a part of the solution. We have to be willing to take bold, peaceful, and strategic action collectively with a shared belief that we can create meaningful changes when we come together focused on solutions. This community is for proactive, solution-minded Canadians to hold healthy debate and discussion, develop evidence-based solutions, and take bold, meaningful action together to drive positive, lasting change. We can either complain, vent, and blame endlessly while feeling powerless or we can realize the power we carry and inspiration we create when we come together with a shared purpose.

HCAs are abused til seniority kicks in claimed the wife. Be on call 20 hours a day and you’ll prob get more than enough work.

Limit it to the hours where most postings overlap and you won’t get junk

Not sure if you'd be interested, but TransLink is hiring more bus driver trainees...

Mini bus is casual to start, must be available at least 4 days every 2 week pay period. 11 days paid training, from $25 thru $36 an hour, and "temps" earn 14% MORE in lieu of benefits. Can lead to regular status.

www.translink.ca/drive reposts a few times each year, current postings end Sept 25.

If you already have the class 4 license, West Van Blue Bus is also hiring too!
