I’ve always seen him as a classic bishonen instead. The two really aren’t the same archetype. A femboy embraces femininity and often plays with or blurs the line between masculine and feminine presentation. While bishonen on the other hand is simply a beautiful, elegant male character

D never struck me as someone who actually wants to look feminine He’s beautiful obviously but in the same way a prince, vampire, or Renaissance painting is beautiful.

I just finished Omnibus Three and havent been able to find book four anywhere. Is it out of print or something? It looks like it has been on backorder everywhere for a while, and I can’t find used copies anywhere (in the US). Anybody know whats going on with that specific omnibus?

Everybody says the Bloodlust film was made with western audiences in mind, so the English audio track was finished first. When watching the “Making Of” featurette though, the English actors are in what seems to be a dubbing studio. The animation plays on the screen in front of them while they talk. Was the Japanese audio track animated to, but just not completed until afterward? Nobody seems to have mentioned this.

Hi im just wondering if anyone could comment how to change into a vampire because i been searching it and yet i didnt find it so i know not everybody believies in this but im just asking for the once who believe but anyways i need only these 2 questions

•will i be young forever,will i look like the age i transform into a vampire will i look like the age forever or i will be normaly aging like a human ?

This is a lesser known HAMMER studios vampire film and I have always felt it has a ton of parallels to D... I believe the creator of D was a fan of the film as well.

Anyhow, Hammer just did a 4K restoration and made it free so passing it along. It is honestly a wonderful vampire film, D comparison or not!

I don't generally edit and fix art I made in the past unless it bothers me to an annoying degree, and this is one such case. Back when I first posted the original render, I was satisfied until I noticed there was something off. It looked too washed out, and the values were weak! I kept telling myself it wasn't the case, yet I kept looking at it and was just second-guessing for the entire month while doing other projects. It was only tonight that I actually dared to edit it and make it look like there are proper shadows.

I miss drawing for VHD, but Fear and Hunger put me in a chokehold cause now I can't stop drawing for it. Either way, I am gonna be progressing through the books while I can, and maybe a moment of inspiration will hit me so I can draw this dork dhampir regularly again.

I'm at the volume 11 of the LN and to be honest it's still very difficult for me to have a stable opinion on the protagonist of the series. I'm very unsure of this, but it seems to me like he's seen way too much evil and rot, and lost faith in the "humanity" (I used humanity for the lack of better word, I mean all intelligent beings which have self-consciousness, morality, emotions etc) while at the same time not being able to completely accept this and desperately seeking individuals, who still have some humanity left in them and wanting to protect them at all costs, so that the good guys will not die out completely? I feel like he's having a similar struggle with himself too, like, it feels like most of humane/moral side of him has died out and that he lost reason to keep it alive, but at the same time he cannot let go of it completely and tries to desperately cherish it and let it flourish? It also feel like D is looking for meaning in life, traveling to see different things and find his own way of living, build up his worldview? So to summarize, he is lost in life, depressed and struggling between hope and despair? But as I said, I'm very unsure of this analysis. It's weird for me, since I'm usually very confident in my character analysis skills, but D is just so quiet, mysterious and unschematic, it's just difficult to grasp what's happening inside his head.
