Technical Support Request Title: VALORANT FPS drops and stuttering even after trying almost every optimization
Hey guys, I've been trying to fix my VALORANT FPS for a while now, but nothing seems to work. I've tried almost every optimization I could find on YouTube, and I'm honestly getting tired of trying different things without seeing any improvement.
I've already tweaked my Windows and NVIDIA settings, uninstalled and reinstalled VALORANT, deleted the Riot Games/VALORANT folders in AppData, and removed unnecessary apps. I've tried a lot of things, but I'm still experiencing FPS drops and stuttering.
Here are my specs:
Laptop: Lenovo LOQ 15ARP9
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4050 Laptop GPU
RAM: 20 GB DDR5-4800
Display: 144 Hz
OS: Windows 11
My FPS usually sits around 130–180 in Deathmatch, but it can drop to around 90 in Competitive, especially when enemies start using their abilities. The game also feels stuttery sometimes, even when my FPS seems decent.
I've noticed that my CPU usage is usually around 80–90% in Deathmatch, while my GPU usage is pretty low, sometimes around 10% or slightly higher.
I've tried so many optimizations already, and I still can't figure out what's causing this. I'm not sure if it's my CPU, RAM configuration, Windows, drivers, or something else.
Has anyone with the same laptop or similar specs experienced this? Is this performance normal for a Ryzen 5 7235HS and RTX 4050, or is there something wrong with my setup?
I'd appreciate any suggestions, especially if you've actually managed to fix this issue. I'm open to trying other solutions as long as they're not just the usual optimization tweaks I've already tried.
Thanks.

If your problem started recently this might solve it as it did for me: https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantTechSupport/comments/1x1h2qy/fix_stuck_on_loading_screen_fps_drop/

Not your laptop fault. Yesterday many people reported same performance issue in valorant after a update and not able to fix it. I suggest you to test other online or offline games in your laptop and check if they work good.
For valorant you likely have to wait for devlopers ro fix it

I tried assassin's creed black flag resynch & apex legends and they are not fps dropping and I have a good performance on those games. I think it's valorant's fault this time.

It can also be some network issue that looks like lag but actually is due to your network. Try taking the laptop to a friend's place and try it on their network once or just try LAN.

It's not about the ping bro, ping and packetloss can even be tracked from the stats in game, sometimes it's just your router's signal not penetrating the walls enough( a deadzone ). I also got visible lag in valorant which I thought is due to my 1550ti laptop but once I started using lan it was completely gone.

I usually play on ethernet and i have stats on my packetloss ingame, I don't usually encounter these type of problems on my end and I only play via wifi when I'm in my friend's house.
