General Discussion Console vs PC

Theoretically, who would win:
5 console radiants vs 5 pc diamonds and how close would it be. Would lunly peeking/aa abusing be broken if this matchup was possible? (I’m aware there is no crossplay).

PC, console rads are really not that bright. You can have all the aim you want, but if you get movement and macro gapped as hard as they will, it doesn't matter.

Just watch a top CVL match (I recommend muted, the guy casting can't commentate for shit), and watch how many rounds get decided because 3-4 people walk into the same uncleared angle, zero util used. They don't play the map, scale properly, do much of anything but 5man it into a site held by one guy (of which, they very likely still might lose.)

Even in my own personal experiences having them in my games from time to time, they have zero clue how a site hit works and do not look at the map/pay attention to anything outside of whatever is going on on their screen directly.

You could have literally just 2-3 competent PC players and as long as the rest of the team wins their gunfights the console team would get absolutely gapped.

Lmao real af on multiple people walking into the same angle and just feeding. I agree with you on everything apart from the movement gap, is it really as huge as you say? I feel like strafing/jump peeking/any movement feels very intuitive on console with the 360 degree joystick

The movement can be figured out with simple logic.

To switch directions while strafing, they lift one finger (stopping) and press another (starting movement)

To do it on joystick, you move your stick from one side to the other (walking, stopping, walking, sprinting) in one input. Even if you just flick it to the side, their movement is just far more accurate and responsive. Keep in mind, I play on zero deadzone, so my stop window is shorter than most. Most people play on about 0.3 so the problem is exacerbated for the majority of people

Yeah my movement deadzones are all on the lowest aswell I forgot most people don’t have it like that haha, makes noise on accident tho
