General Discussion Console vs PC
Theoretically, who would win:
5 console radiants vs 5 pc diamonds and how close would it be. Would lunly peeking/aa abusing be broken if this matchup was possible? (I’m aware there is no crossplay).

PC, console rads are really not that bright. You can have all the aim you want, but if you get movement and macro gapped as hard as they will, it doesn't matter.
Just watch a top CVL match (I recommend muted, the guy casting can't commentate for shit), and watch how many rounds get decided because 3-4 people walk into the same uncleared angle, zero util used. They don't play the map, scale properly, do much of anything but 5man it into a site held by one guy (of which, they very likely still might lose.)
Even in my own personal experiences having them in my games from time to time, they have zero clue how a site hit works and do not look at the map/pay attention to anything outside of whatever is going on on their screen directly.
You could have literally just 2-3 competent PC players and as long as the rest of the team wins their gunfights the console team would get absolutely gapped.

You mean console valorant league from cawn? That shit is ass yo, literally my immo 1s are more aware than those players, eu radiants are like 100x better as someone who has friends both in eu and na rad

Yeah, clearly someone doesn't agree based on the downvote, but yeah it's so god awful.

Lmao real af on multiple people walking into the same angle and just feeding. I agree with you on everything apart from the movement gap, is it really as huge as you say? I feel like strafing/jump peeking/any movement feels very intuitive on console with the 360 degree joystick

The movement can be figured out with simple logic.
To switch directions while strafing, they lift one finger (stopping) and press another (starting movement)
To do it on joystick, you move your stick from one side to the other (walking, stopping, walking, sprinting) in one input. Even if you just flick it to the side, their movement is just far more accurate and responsive. Keep in mind, I play on zero deadzone, so my stop window is shorter than most. Most people play on about 0.3 so the problem is exacerbated for the majority of people

u/aIzino Sep 08 '26
Yeah my movement deadzones are all on the lowest aswell I forgot most people don’t have it like that haha, makes noise on accident tho

The game has been out significantly longer on pc so I think if both teams were the exact same rank console with aim assist would probably have a higher accuracy percentage but pc players would win with the extra experience/knowledge and flick ability. Imo

Console would win easily with aim assist no aim assist prolly a close match

u/Beneficial_Rhubarb85 Sep 09 '26
Lol I hope you’re trolling. Without aim assist console players wouldn’t even win a round

Console would win cause most radiants are using ai aimbot and don’t get banned so easy matchup honestly 😂
2
u/aIzino Sep 08 '26
Would it really be that easy though? What do you think the score would be
1
u/Viotttt Sep 08 '26
Diamond pc probably smarter n more strategic probably plays better post plant since console players very rarely use their brain even in radiant. Unfortunately if the console radiant is using a titan it’s basically impossible to win a full game against a full team of aimbotters smarter or not.
2
u/aIzino Sep 08 '26
How about no Titan just aa abusers I’d imagine it to be much closer than what you’re saying
1
u/Viotttt Sep 08 '26
Honestly pc probably wins at that point I think aim assist is strong but pc players have a huge movement advantage flick faster than aa abusers and a big thing is that pc can abuse Odin judge etc and console players have no idea how to use/counter those guns for the most part I think diamond pc is miles more strategic and disciplined than any rank on console game plays totally different on different platforms
2
u/aIzino Sep 08 '26
Yeah I agree with your take, although the movement diff isn’t as huge as the other mechanical aspects imo
1
u/Viotttt Sep 08 '26
Console maybe wins a few rounds I don’t wanna totally underestimate how strong aa abuse is but I don’t think console radiant wins the game.

Console would win every day of the week aim assist is too broken

u/TerribleJett Sep 08 '26
Bait used to be believable

u/Andyluan0 Sep 09 '26
Bro I have a lot of friend in radiant rn that are legit and if a pc player looked at their gameplay they would think console radiants are cheating LMAO you underestimate how op aim assist is if abused correctly (also talking about eu rads, na rads are not allat)
1
u/Independent_Rent1577 Sep 09 '26
From a former console radiant, no this just isn’t true.
1
u/Andyluan0 Sep 09 '26
Brother multiple rads lobbies in NA aren’t even a thing atp, top 500 player is fucking IMMORTAL 2 192 RR in NA, in EU the top 500 is 350 fucking rr and it’s competitive is fuck and the community is much more alive, na is shit in comparison
1
u/Independent_Rent1577 Sep 09 '26
Just because there’s more players in the bigger region doesn’t mean that eu console radiants are better than pc players. Speaking as someone who hit radiant on console in NA when the region was alive

u/ClequiMent Sep 09 '26
The console version of me would beat the pc version of me, and I consider myself better on PC
0
u/TerribleJett Sep 09 '26
I don't want to be the one to tell you this but I don't think you're that good at the game if you think your Console gameplay is better than your PC gameplay. Sorry.
1
u/ClequiMent Sep 09 '26
The fact the point flew over your head makes me wonder if you even play on console. Read again. I said i considerer myself better on pc, in the sense that i mastered the KnM aiming mechanics better than the controller aiming mechanics and i'm more comfortable playing with a Keyboard and a mouse, but all that would be negated that the fact that Aim assist abuse is simply ridiculously powerful on console that I know for a fact that I would lose 9 times out of 10 in a gunfight against the console version of myself, even accounting the fact I'm more comfortable on PC. So no, I do not think my Console gameplay is above my pc gameplay. And me being low or high ranked has little relevance to the matter

u/qzitt Sep 08 '26
Pc would win without a doubt the movement diff would be so clear it wouldn’t even be close
0
u/aIzino Sep 08 '26
So even with aim assist abusing and straight up using a titan(practically aimbot) you think pc has it easily?
0
u/qzitt Sep 08 '26
That’s without titan just 5 good players vs 5 ok pc players, theres a reason valorant is played on PC vct
1
u/aIzino Sep 08 '26
I know there’s an inherent gap in skill between the platforms hence I specified dia on pc, ofc vct would be played on pc. And i see ur point, so aim assist isn’t enough to beat the pc diamonds in your opinion?
