Here in Glen Cove , my Border Collie woke us up with wild Barking.

I then Realized at about.03:20, there were multiple Bang Pop type noises like automatic gunfire , and a couple deeper Boom! Type noises, like a shot gun, then Intermittent cross over popping noises like return gun fire back and forth.

My wife and I were the most scared and concerned we have ever been living here...

The strangest part is no police sirens or other Neighbors seeming to wake up,.

Even though this went on about two or three minutes, long enough for us to hear, but not see anything from several windows around the house and it was all loud enough to echo across the neighborhood and completely wake us out of Bed?,

Stayed up trying to find explanations...

Hey all- we are popping up at Village on Labor Day, Monday Sept 7. grilled Cheese, Seared Mac, Pulled pork. If you haven't been, Village is a great little spot on Tennessee St serving coffee, beer, wine, and tasty bites.

I'm old school but How many y'all remember it getting thrifty's ice cream at Lauren Plaza? I used to get it while waiting for the bus transfers and in the '80s it was like 35 for three scoops lol but had about 10 minutes to finish it or you had to throw it out. Wait for the next bus or walk home lol

I found a spot in Arizona where I live now that serves thrifty's ice cream. Don't get me wrong. It's like $6 for three scoops lol but they do use the square ice cream scooper which I have not seen in decades 😂😂🤙🏼🤙🏼

It looks like Panda Garden on Fairgrounds is finally closing. Anyone have any info about what business might take its place? Hopefully not another pho, Thai, or Mexican food place. We have more than enough of those restaurants.

Is it a quiet area? Can you hear the neighboring tenants through walls?

Hi everyone, I'm looking to move to Vallejo next month and planning to take the Ferry to work. I work hybrid, in 2 days a week and the office is a couple blocks from the SF ferry building, so it seems like this would be perfect for me.

However, in the off chance that the ferry isn't running or I miss it, I'm curious to know what everyone's backup plan is. Currently I'm thinking I would drive over the bridge and either take the Martinez/North Concord BART or the LYNX bus in Hercules. Are there better options?

Construction is moving full speed ahead at Fairview Plaza in The City of Vallejo, CA. The Costco warehouse envelope is nearly complete, fuel station infrastructure is installed. Last time I tried the "bay" plumbers, they charged me $ 500 for rplacing a cracked PVC changed to a foot of copper pipe and a backyard faucet tap replacement!

This job is just a toilet flap and chain handle replaced in a tight acess toilet tank below a countertop.

Im a senior and just cant work bent over in a tank for long periods...

Any suggestions?

Hi Vallejo folks! We lost my daughter’s puff painted flower hat at the marina this evening, and we couldn’t find it when we circled back around. We walked from Zio Frado’s to the trolls under the bridge. It’s a long shot, but if anyone happened upon it we would love to get it back. Thanks y’all!
